When Bush Will Surge Ahead for Good --- THE SEPTEMBER SURPRISE
various news stories | 3-29-04 | DFU

Posted on 03/29/2004 8:46:58 PM PST by doug from upland

It hasn't been talked about a great deal, but I am sure that Karl Rove knows it is going to happen. It is the September Surprise.

The DemocRATic convention in Boston is on July 26-29. A party virtually always gets a good bump in the polls as their message is seen center stage across America.

Terry McAuliffe knows he has a problem and has tried to pin some kind of blame on the evil Republicans. He was made an offer, but Terry wanted it all his way, so there was no deal.

The city of New York wanted both conventions held in New York this year. McAuliffe didn't want the Republicans there. He would only accept New York if the GOP was forced to go elsewhere. The Punk, as he is called by Rush Limbaugh would not accept the deal, so the RATS are off to Boston, the city famous for the Boston Jinx.

Between August 30-September 2, the Republicans will be celebrating in New York. It is just before the anniversary of 9/11. The event will be oozing patriotism, and the bump for Bush will be a staggering blow to Kerry (if Hillary has not found a way to eliminate him and be annointed at the convention).

I recommend that Karl Rove have a huge free concert in the park featuring Toby Keith, Charley Daniels, Sara Evans, and . . . . . . . . . . Lee Greenwood. Throw in an appearance by FReeper fireman Mike Moran and the ballad of Mike Moran.

What ever else happens in the campaign, the scheduling of the GOP convention in New York just before 9/11 is a stroke of genius. The Punk is not sleeping well now, and he will be an insomniac by the time the end of August rolls around. Particularly if we have captured or killed Osama bin Laden.

Don't forget that the convention ends exactly 61 days before the general election. Remember McCain-Feingold?

I agree, Doug. And I maintain that Bush-Cheney will get a minimum of 400 Electoral votes.

Please explain the argument. Do you think the RATS will have difficulty getting out their message after that? Remember that the major networks will be shilling big time for the RATS at the end. And, unless the court stops it, Soros will be spending 50 million bucks through moveon.

Look for the Dims to stage massive civil disobedience (rent-a-mobs, protests, etc.) during the GOP convention. It's their last chance to riot for the media. With the patriotic undercurent at the 9-11 anniversary, this will backfire on the Dims and they will lose the election by 5-10%. I agree McAuliffe's strategy will fail against GW's superior strategery.

MIDI - ONE TIN SOLDIER

Listen people, to the story of a man who led the fight
He had purpose, he had vision...he would always do what was right
Others had been weak and timid...that is why they had been struck
George Bush recognized the evil...terrorists ran out of luck

Go ahead and call him cowboy...say he isn't smart enough
Make up all the lies and stories...he can take it, 'cause he's tough
He's proven his resolve like Churchill...he will win the day
When the battle's finally over...one great leader had led the way

Some among them cried and whimpered...they said it was their own fault
Some had given in to terror...that is what had caused more assaults
With those who would take your freedom...you cannot see eye to eye
They've a plan that's never changing...you must all convert or die

Go ahead and call him cowboy...say he isn't smart enough
Make up all the lies and stories...he can take it, 'cause he's tough
He's proven his resolve like Churchill...he will win the day
When the battle's finally over...one great leader had led the way

There were those with lust for power...who would pull off any scam
If what they did hurt the nation...they simply did not give a damn
They would trot out those who failed...who'd already had their turn
They're the cause of all the trouble...there the ones who never learned

Go ahead and call him cowboy...say he isn't smart enough
Make up all the lies and stories...he can take it, 'cause he's tough
He's proven his resolve like Churchill...he will win the day
When the battle's finally over...one great leader had led the way

Good points for us, bad for the DOOM and GLOOMERS that infest this forum.

I will also add, that the American general public will have forgotten that there ever was a 9/11 Commission by then and they will get a refresher course in Patriotism and just why President Bush is our moral leader as well as President. Then we have the Anniversary of 9/11 for a free boost on top of that.

In the debates, Kerry cannot focus on his 5 second sound bites that the Media has built him up with, instead, he will be droning on and on with his long faced scowl, and monotonous speaking tone, he will be the sickening demagogue he always has been and no one will be there to sugarcoat his rank personality.

President Bush will be like he was against Gore, perky, witty, funny and kind spirited, etc....America will see why he is so likable, even may feel some guilt for all the unkind and disingenuous thoughts and prejudice they may have had toward him based on the Medias propaganda.

In that light, look for W's popularity to soar again, and the Media start to scramble to erase the "BIAS" label they have tattooed to their foreheads. It will be great to see!

Looks more like 325-350 EVs to me. What states will they get to jump from 325 to 400? Don't tell me Cali, NY, NJ, CT, or Illinois. Dubya isn't winning any of those, sorry.

FReeper John Moran (who posted as BCM - Battalion commander Moran) died at the World Trade Center. His brother Mike, FReeper RoyalIA, stood on stage at the concert for New York and challenged Osama bin Laden for the world to see. "Osama bin Laden, you can kiss my royal Irish ass." I wrote a song immediately, FReeper Vetnet saw it and helped me do a rewrite and polish it. He then put together a group and recorded it. It has been played around the world.

DOWNLOAD THE BALLAD OF MIKE MORAN

Last year on a trip to New York, I was able to get together with Mike and a bunch of FReepers for some serious beer drinking at a tavern. I'm coming back to NY probably at the end of April or early in June. Anyone up for a reply of a great event?

That won't affect the liberal press. They will still be working for the democrates 24/7 while we have no public voice.

Thanks McCain.

Look for the Communist Party USA, the WTO crowd, anarchist and liberals in mass protesting in great numbers in New York at that time.

They are desperate and I see a big need for massive crowd control.

Bush and the Republicans have to be ready for that and have a reply to that showing ready for the public, like showing the communist connection which has favored terrorists.

Be on guard, this isn't going to be easy or pretty, the left is desperate.

The Middle East sees another 4 years of Bush as at least a couple of more of the Middle Eastern countries being turned Democratic as well. It is a threat to their kingdoms and current corrupt power structure.

Look for hell on earth from these crowds.

Right... the GOP is so stupid it hurts... picking NYC for a convention site... the home of more red diaper babies than Moscow... and they don't even have to travel...

Chicago 68 all over again... and the 9/11 commission reports in the summer because the Bushies are so stupid they allowed it...

IT is going to be UGLY

If the DUmmies try staging anything like this, it will backfire on them badly. The moderates and independents will greatly turn away from the Rats as a result because they don't like civil disobedience and lawless chaos.

Something like this so close to the election, could really swing the voters into a 400 point or better victory for our Adult President. I highly recommend that Kerry show up with them and chant some of his hateful rhetoric as well as Howard Dean, the two of them together, won't that be sweet?

Soros won't be able to use any of it for ads that mention Bush, or he'll go to jail. Which wouldn't be that bad, either...
