Look for the Dims to stage massive civil disobedience (rent-a-mobs, protests, etc.) during the GOP convention. It's their last chance to riot for the media. With the patriotic undercurent at the 9-11 anniversary, this will backfire on the Dims and they will lose the election by 5-10%. I agree McAuliffe's strategy will fail against GW's superior strategery.

Deja Vu: Chicago, 1968. Paved the way for the backlash by the Silent Majority, against "civil disobedience." Nixon won over Humphrey-not by a landslide. Humphrey was NOT a Massachusetts, liberal, anti-war activist.

Rolling forward to 1972, Nixon clobbered (landslide) liberal, anti-war McGovern.

The more the left displays their "civil diobedience" side, the greater it inspires another Silent Majority-with the possibility (not probability) of landslide.
