An interesting 'Fox fact' that was on the banner a few minutes ago said that Tenet started his career working for Sen. John Heinz.

He was also a 'rat staffer on the putative Senate Intelligence Committee when Clinturd picked him to run the CIA. Not exactly confidence-inspiring...

I once saw a "town meeting" of those families on MSNBC, in which they were discussing the money that they had been offered from the government.

I have/had really mixed feelings about the money in the first place, so you can imagine my shock when some of the families said, yes, THEIR loved one WAS more valuable than the the people who worked as waiters in Windows on the World.

The latest trestimony is that there was a "Prince" on the site with Usama and that's why they didn't take him down. But that appears to be NEW information and conflicts with all the other reasons that have been given.

I'm still wondering why someone who should be before the commission answering questions, is part of the commisssion asking them? Gore-lick was a part of the very department (DOJ) that thought it more important to treat terrorism as a legal issue...as they also used a PC criteria to impliment domestic policy. Her entire DOJ was more concerned with appearances of racism than actually targeting terrorist entities in this country. She should be answering questions.

Hey, didn't they have several private hours with Dr. Rice? Why didn't they ask those questions then?

Seems Kerrey is agenda oriented and wants to attempt a public 'gotcha' on Dr. Rice.

Ever since the Wilson/Plame affair came to light I have become a huge fan of George Tenet.

In that and other areas he has been a forceful presence on behalf of this administration.

Good grief! What did Bob Kerrey have in his coffee this morning. YELLING about the new plan and how it's nothing and the applause from the gallery egging him on.

He DOES not think the one clinton strike was a "pin prick".

Well, I guess he had a little chat with somebody last night.

I defer to GWB's judgement on this, from what I understand Tenet goes back a ways with his dad. I think he knows him better than anything we know in the public.
