That's why I'm not completely sold Janet was necessarily in on the deal (Justin has a rep though). Janet is normally so careful about her image, I think she'd go for something that provided a little more support and flattering appearance. It'll be interesting to hear her statement.

Listening to Drudge.....he says that CNN headline news is replaying it over & over....Drudge thinks that 'heads will roll' at CBS over this incident.
Also reports that CBS affiliates are telling people to call the NYC HQ to complain!

You think this woman wanted this to happen?
I REALLY feel sorry for most of you...
It was an accident...LET IT GO
One wonders why people hate Christians...
To: Howlin
Certainly Howlin...
BTW, how many times have you watched it so far? :)
To: Lunatic Fringe
Plus, despite MTV's "denial", they're now featuring a picture of the bare breasted Janet in their Super Bowl half-time show pictorial recap.
Unintentional, unintended........but we'll capitalize on it, for sure.
So much for their statement.

If you believe that this is an "accident" then I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale, you may like it.

You know I hate to hit this one too hard but if they are watching football at Church instead of Christ centered activities then perhaps you need to change ChurchesYou do have a point here.

Just a cheap stunt. Trying to one-up Britney and Madonna. I wonder what will happen on the Grammys? There isn't much left anymore.

"We are both really ticked off. I know several of our grandchildren are sports enthusiasts and are at parties watching this game. Their parents gaurd what they watch on tv. There was NO chance they could change the channel.
This is an outrage.
Are we alone in feeling this way?
As to Kid Rock, his flag incident was done out of ignorance. He is a HUGE supporter of the troops. I can forgive that. At least he tried to support them! So I'll let him know through his agent. God love him for supporting our troops the way he does. "
You are upset because of an accident with Janet...but a THOUGHT OUT plan of cutting up the American Flag doesn't bother you??????????
I am at a loss for words...

I don't mean to reply to the screenname "Barnacle" so much as to do a general post (I'm new at this ... sorry). Anyway, I wanted to make it easy for all who want to complain to the FCC about the disgusting Super Bowl half-time porn show. This is "standard text" that you can tweak and send to
fccinfo@fcc.gov.
Here's the complaint email I just sent to the FCC:
---
Subject: Complaint: Janet Jackson Exposing Herself on NFL Super Bowl Half-Time Show
To:
fccinfo@fcc.gov
To Whom It May Concern:
I was extremely offended and found Janet Jackson exposing herself to be completely obscene. I expect that Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, CBS, VIACOM, MTV, and NFL officials be assessed a significant financial penalty. I expect that somebody should serve some time in court and be given some time behind bars as well.
Is it any wonder why extremists find the United States so repulsive? We do our country a disservice to allow such disgusting and vile behavior.
I look forward to hearing what you will do about this awful and horrendous act.
Patriotically Yours,

Good Lord, man....have you even seen the video of the event? If it was an accident, would MTV have a picture of it on their website? If it were an accident, why the nipple jewelry (as clearly illustrated in a Drudge close-up?

I am telling you there my be another side to it. I think he was doing it to send a message to the troops, who love him, and who he always supports. He knew they would be watching, he may have not thought about the ramifications of other people's reactions. He did not do that as a sign of disrespect.
I will support just about anything or anyone who give our troops a moral boost right now. My concern is always with those troops, if they aren't bothered by it today, I am not going to be. If it gave them a little boost to know he is thinking about them, I am not going to bad mouth it.
I will wait to hear the back story on it.

Nah..she was not horrified...it was all planned in advance and CBS knew it!
But the NFL spokesman said it will be the LAST time that bunch of creeps ever work the half time again.
Those jackson's are a sorry lot, indeed.

You, my friend, are completely blind. View the video footage. Pull your foot out of your mouth and then come back here to have a discussion.
Then get a life yourself.

CBS knew what would happen. They liked it. Just another thread of evidence that our country is in a downward spiral. Drudge reports that, despite their apology, CBS had already approved it. Which is perfectly believable. One only had to watch this halftime show for a snapshot of where our country is morally and culturally. If there weren't a huge market for trash like this, it wouldn't be on TV during the most-watched program of the year. It's heartbreaking, but entertainment is for the most part reflective of a culture. Within twenty years, if the Lord doesn't come by then, nudity will be common on network TV. Christians will be considered a scourge of "intolerant haters." Remove God from a culture and this is where it goes, folks.
