Saving to my Kerry file. I had one going and then his #'s were so bad, I deleted them! I've done that before and regretted it, so now I try to save anything like that at least once to a floppy.

June 1,2003,Kerry gave an interview to Laura Blumenfeld of the Washington Post- "John Kerry; Hunter,Dreamer,Realist." It's chock full of LOL quotes and anecdotes from Senator Renoir. I swear I am not making this up-He has a secret compartment in his black attache case, which he carries everywhere and in this secret compartment, which is so secret he shared it with the Washington Post-but,only after eye rolling and sighing ( " Who told you ? " he demanded as he reached inside. " My friends don't know about this.") Anyway,in this super secret pocket of his black attache case,is a mildewed hat-a good luck hat, given to him by a CIA operative as Kerry went into Cambodia for a secret mission. Hmmm... Can we verify this ? Kerry fingered the moldy hat and then put it on-says it is his good luck hat. According to the author " he looked silly ", and then he smiled and aimed his finger: "Pow." And we thought Dean and Clark were over the edge.
What is interesting about the WP article,is that they have now sanitized the article-deleting one of Kerry's poems. I wonder why ? It was such a hoot, that I wrote it down-take that,Washington Post. Likewise, the American Spectator recorded the poem for posterity. Again,I am not making this up:
" Gassing Poetic",Shawn Macomber, American Spectator 12/30/2003
" A Deer " , by John Kerry aka John Kohn aka Senator Renoir
" "I had a talk with a deer today
we met upon the road some way
between his frequent snorts
He asked me if I sought his pelt
cause if I did he said he felt
quite out of sorts!"
This is not an ode he wrote to his nanny or in prep school, but, something he wrote recently. God help us.
