Bush Denounced as 'Evil F---' at Kerry Fundraiser
NewsMax.com ^ | Sept. 21, 2003 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 09/21/2003 9:05:48 AM PDT by Carl/NewsMax

President Bush was denounced as an 'evil f---' at a fundraiser this week for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry.

The event, held at Manhattan's Intrepid's Sea-Air-Space Museum Thursday night, featured a vulgarity laced performance by techno-rocker Moby, who invited Kerry onstage for a sing-along tribute to punk rock godfather Lou Reed.

As the duo perfomed Reed's classic "Walk on the Wild Side," Kerry "froze," according to the New York Daily News, when Moby reached one particularly obscene portion of the song.

Then, after the song ended, Moby denounced Bush to the crowd of Kerry-backers as "an evil f---," the News said.

It's not clear whether Sen. Kerry was still onstage when the techno-rocker used the obscenity in reference to Bush - or whether the one-time Democratic fronrunner even heard the outburst.

Though the incident reportedly took place four days ago, Sen. Kerry has had no comment on Moby's use of the "F"-word in reference to the President of the United States.

I was going to comment on every comment you made in that post, but it would tax my brain too much.

So, I will have only one comment:

LOL

Good job Doc...

Someone else around here came up with the "every trip to bed, a fundraiser" line. I apologize for forgetting who, but that's a great line.

I'm over at the "Kapton Kerry" thread acting out over there too.

And this surprisesm who?

Everyone with enough intelligence to know their name knows that democrats [communists] have no decency, morals, scrupples, or principles.

The only thing that a democrat could that should surprise anyone is to do something good and decent.

The sun has a better chance to rise in the west than for that to happen.

This sounds like that tribute to Clinton where Robin Williams swore throughout his performance until he saw a pre-teen girl in the front row. Then he laughed it off and swore some more. The show was broadcast on CSPAN.

Such lack of class, and how utterly unsuprising. If the Republicans are the "daddy" party, the Dims must be becoming the juvenile delinquent party.

Potty-mouth insults instead of communication is what we must expect. After all, didn't they try to lend some "gravitas" to Gore by having him swear (in a manly fashion, of course!) during an interview in the recount process? Like they think it means they're "thinkers". Ooooh. Deep. (/sarcasm)

I know what you mean. Why do companies need advertisments? Yes, this leftist claptrap keeps being fed to people 24/7 and few know that it's really propaganda. The media hardly ever even refers to leftists as even liberal, most often as "progressives," while making conservatives sound like a curse word or at least the antagonists of any debate. I am from Saginaw, Michigan and cannot believe how many young people are on government assistance and think it's no big deal. Just another life style. I hope young people in other parts of America are not as brainwashed or we will have alot of future Democrat leftist voters real soon.

Ichneumon, I updated the lyrics for the event:

Lou Reed
Transformer (1972)
Walk On The Wild Side

Bobbie Graham came from Miami, Fla
Hitchhiked her way across the USA.
Plucked her eyebrows on the way
Shaved her leg and then he was she - she said:

Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.

Wesley came from out on the island,
In the backroom she was everybodys darling,
But she never lost her head
Even when she was given head - she said

Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
And the Rev'rend Al goes, doo dodoo

Little Joe never once gave it away,
Ev'rybody had to pay and pay.
A hustle here and a hustle there
New York city is no place where they said:

Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.

Sugar Plum Kerry came and hit the streets
Looking for soul food and a place to eat
Went to the Apollo, you should have seen him go go go - they said:

Hey Sugar, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.

Howie is just speeding away,
Thought she was James Dean for a day
Then I guess she had to crash,
Valium would have helped that bash - she said:

Hey Sugar, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
And the Rev'rend Al goes, doo dodoo

Ah, wait... I knew Eminem and Moby got into a scuffle... here's Moby whining about Mr. Mathers:

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1457273/20020830/story.jhtml

While Eminem certainly won the approval of MTV Video Music Awards voters, his appearance at the annual awards show Thursday night may have turned off as many fans as it impressed.

The controversial rapper lived up to his billing, approaching Moby — a target of past Eminem lyrical jabs — while the techno star was being interviewed and he thrust a middle finger into his face just out of camera range. When the camera and interviewer — beloved "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" character Triumph the Insult Comic Dog — then turned their attention to Em, the rapper pushed the puppet aside and a member of his entourage tossed the comic's notes into the air. (Click for photos of the top VMA moments.) Shortly thereafter, Eminem won the night's Best Male Video award, and taunted Moby from the stage, calling him a "little girl" and warning the bespectacled artist, "I will hit a man with glasses" (see "Eminem Takes Home Most Moonmen From Video Music Awards").

The rapper's behavior inspired a round of boos at Radio City, and left Moby dumbfounded. "The truth is that I honestly, in all sincerity, thought that the whole Eminem thing was done in some semblance of humor until Eminem called me a pu--- (that was off camera) and then threatened to beat me up," Moby wrote on his official Web site. "I think that Eminem is talented and interesting but I'm kind of stunned at the anger that he has for me seeing as I'd never met him up until last night."

Senator Kennedy, Moby, both are consumed with hate, blinded by it. Better put than I could:

"I thought Ronald Reagan held the record for being the target of attacks from all sides, but George W. Bush tops him by miles. Bush's detractors (much too nice a term) have sliced, skewered, and fricaseed him daily for the last three years or so, hoping against hope that something, anything, would stick. So far, he's managed to ignore their hateful rhetoric, including comparisons to a monkey, a "smirking chimp," warmonger, Nazi, Hitler, and just about anything vile and reprehensible that comes to the crabbed minds of those who hate him."

You've hit the nail on the head. This is spiritual warfare. satan hates the united states because of our spiritual roots. he does everything he can to destroy us, even to using the democrats as his minions. They have been SO willing. They've sold their souls to the devil and now they're trying to sell our nation to him, too. It's time to fight.

"The culture war is deadly serious out there, people. Polite GOP tactics are laughed at.

America-haters have: Music, Network TV, Cinema, Education, Fine Arts, the Stage, Major Newspapers, Universities, FM Radio... all locked up in an ideological package. In short: the entire "culture"."

Well said and delineated. Their( the so called "culture producers") postmodernist version of culture shows no sign of slowing down but becoming even more hostile and intense. Fortunately not everyone swims in their cultural cesspool.
