THE NUTS HATE BUSH BUT WE LUVYA DUBYA: Beverly Hills AfterFreep Report!
Dec. 2, 2003

Posted on 12/02/2003 8:45:26 PM PST by Cinnamon Girl

While the nuts were gathering in the Beverly Hilton for their childish "Hate Bush" meeting, the America-loving, President Bush-loving folks from all around were joining up with signs and cheers on Wilshire Boulevard, across the street from the hotel.

And it wasn't just us Freepers-- the very good looking College Republicans from Loyola Marymount, Ted Hayes, and other happy people who heard about the rally from all the talk shows today (thanks talk show hosts!) were out there with us. Signs were upbeat: "Luvya Dubya", "L.A. Loves W.", "Real Men Love G.W." (that was Outraged, who was dressed in his superman costume), "President Bush is My Hero", and of course there were lots of American Flags.

As RonDog waved with his big Mickey Mouse hand and we waved our signs chanting "President Bush!" and "Five More Years!" TONS of cars passed us, many of them HONKING THEIR HORNS in support-- much more than I had expected, actually. I keep wanting to believe that more and more people are rejecting the liberal trash in LA; my experience at rallies over the years suggests to me that there is a changing tide. Yes, we got a lot of middle fingers-- one of the most common forms of expression from liberals-- but on the BIRD-OMETER, with the rally in front NBC studios during the Al Gore hissy fit being a 10, this ranked a 4. At that rally we got a lot of screaming curse words as well, but at this one, the anger was actually WAY, WAY toned down with a few "He's an idiot" comments and 'thumbs down' but the RAGE wasn't there.

Lots of media showed up: KTLA 5, CBS 2, channels 9 and 11 as well, plus a CBS from Sacramento.

The energy was really good, and, although the Hate Bush attendees came in through the backway from the parking garage and avoided us, there were a few loitering in the lobby who could see us, and well, if they watch the news tonight, I guess they'll get an earful.

Look for pictures from Freeper "rantblogger."

P.S. I saw two people give us the finger with one hand, while holding their phones in the other-- while DRIVING.

AARON'S RANTBLOG HAS PHOTOS from the Luvya Dubya rally in Hollywood last night, held in response to (and across the street from) various entertainment-industry folks' "hate Bush event."

It's a topsy turvy world, when something called "Aaron's Rantblog" is showing more love than a bunch of Hollywood types. Or maybe it's not. . . .

And, from AARON'S RANTBLOG:

Rantblogger's special embroidered freedom rally denim shirt differs quite a bit from the skanky, tattered, filthy shmattas and cowardly masks, or vile coverings the libs favor, if they wear anything at all. Like this, too.

Melrose Larry Green!

Ted Hayes interviewed on TV.

Having more fun than the farbissiner socialist limosine liberals across the street.

Risking life and limb adjacent Beverly Hills rush hour traffic.

Here's the Free Republic banter about the rally.

Not bad for a last minute rally!

No more. It is.

Well, interestingly enough, if you search for Capitol Strategies and Beverly Hills, you find a really interesting link.

I just don't understand the mentality of these "stars" esp the Jewish ones. Don't they understand they are supporting the same people who have so much hate for the Jewish people. These "bad" Muslims would wipe out the Jewish people if it were possible.
Is it possible that they are over here living the "high life" just as secure and safe as can be. Able to say whatever without any worries. Wonder if there lived in Israel or had relatives there, if they would being thinking the same thing.
I consider them to selling out their own people.

Did you guys have a sign that read "I'll be president before Hillary"?
If so, you were on Fox & Friends this morning. Congrats!
That was our FRiend "Melrose" Larry Green.
He is not yet registered to post here, and he can be somewhat of a "loose cannon" at times, but his HEART is in the right place...
...and he got in a "live" report from our rally to the Michael Savage radio show last night.

Plaintiff was very encouraged by his meetings and conversations with the President, Mrs. Clinton and Vice President Gore and was thus induced to become an even more substantial contributor to the DNC. Throughout June 2000, Plaintiff met with Rendell, Tonken and Berger, among others, to plan a DNC fundraiser at Plaintiff’s home to be attended by President Clinton. Plaintiff, Berger, consultant Terry New of Capitol Strategies and other DNC fundraisers conducted several “walk-throughs” of Plaintiff’s home in anticipation of the event. Plaintiff also made approximately $150,000 in improvements to his home in anticipation of the event.

Well ain't that interesting

Hey y'all .. check out post #224

Oh, I had no complaints. I think we should have a send Hillary a Hallmark Contest.

We compose two lines odes to Senator Sleaze. The first line has to be nice and romantic. The second has to pack a wallop.

Here's an example to get inventive minds started...

Asleep at night, I see your face while dreaming.
That's why I awaken, scared and screaming!

He is not yet registered to post here...
And, for ALL of you "not yet a FReeper" NEWBIES - who are just now discovering this crazy place that we call Free Republic, please check out THIS thread:

What is Free Republic? How does it work? What's in it for ME?
[Practical advice for beginners.]

Welcome, and Thanks [Newbies Especially, Please Read] ^ | May 21, 2003 | RonDog (and FRiends)
Posted on 05/21/2003 1:33 AM PDT by RonDog

I have been asked by a group of politically active "not-yet-FReepers" (at my local NRA chapter) to explain to them (in forty-five minutes or less) how to use this extraordinary forum.

They would like for me to tell them:
What (exactly) **is** Free Republic?
How does it work?
Why can it do for ME?
I of course have MY OWN ideas about this place, but what do YOU tell people who have never been here before?
How do YOU use this forum?
Why do YOU visit here?
What advice can YOU give to "newbies" here?
-- snip --

C. How do I participate on Free Republic?

1. Here is what you need to get started:
Internet access – You can use your own computer, or ask to use one owned by your family, or friends. Or try one available at your local public library.

E-mail account – You may already have one provided by your ISP (like AOL) or you can apply for a FREE e-mail account from Microsoft’s www.hotmail.com

Screen Name – To maintain your privacy, everyone who posts on Free Republic is required to choose a "screen name."
Use your imagination. You can pick a macho name like the Top Gun fighter pilots, "Maverick" or "The Iceman."
Or you can use your old CB radio handle, like "Rubber Duck."

Or you can even use your REAL name, if you like. :o)
2. YOU always choose your own "comfort level."
LURK – Read the "Latest Posts" – or ANYTHING you like, anonymously.

SEARCH – One of the MOST POWERFUL ways for registered members to search Free Republic is to click on "My Comments." (You will need to be "logged on" with your screen name.)
This will display ALL of the replies that have been posted From: you – or To: you, either as an individual, or in a group.

Alternatively, you can search individual thread titles for words and phrases that could be of interest to you, like "NRA" or "Assault Weapon Ban."

GET "pinged" – You can ask to be notified by some of the old-timers about threads that they think may be of interest to you. They will then post a "reply" to you on those threads, which you will see when you click on "My Comments."

This feature is like having your own electronic newspaper "clipping service."

A variation on this method is to check out threads already marked by someone in a special interest group – like the "bang_list" for Second Amendment threads.

POST – When you are ready, you can post YOUR OWN thoughts and opinions, but be prepared to DEFEND yourself from "flames" and "disruptors."

And remember that ANYONE on the Internet can read what you post – including your MOTHER, your NEIGHBORS and your CHILDREN, so be professional.

E-MAIL a link – When you find a thread that may be of interest to your friends, you can send them an e-mail with a link that will take them directly to that thread...
CLICK HERE for the rest of that thread

Yet liberals are so full of hate that they routinely say and do things that I think once, in saner times, would probably have resulted in criminal charges.

Wait a minute, you need to get a few things straight. The haters are leftists, not liberals (they are the mindless bleeding hearts that the left has been pandering to for decades), and the main reason for the hate of GW is that Bush has separated the the liberals from the left, haulted the forward movement of the leftist agenda and in some cases thrown them for a loss. Much more needs to be done, though and keeping those liberals on the Bush side is the only way to do that. So, if you think that some of the Bush policies are a little out of line with conservative thinking, you might keep this in mind.

I notice that one of the banner holders on the right is wearing a mask. These idiots, too young to have served in Nam and know little if anything about WWII or Korea, are victims of radical teachers and other unworthy Americans who use our system of free speech to further their rhetorical hate. I hope some of our finest can take them to the wood shed when they return home!

Good on you real CA. Americans, wish I could have joined you. ALL e-mail the White House and tell that outstanding President - WE LOVYA DUBYA!!

Beautiful work, guys...

As I keep earnestly reminding my leftist acquaintances when they rage about W, "But I thought hate wasn't a family value."

It makes their pointy little heads spin 'round and 'round...
