In a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq, visiting New York Sen. Hillary Clinton told them that Americans back home are growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush's decision to send them into battle.
Describing two meetings with G.I.s over turkey dinners in Baghdad, Sen. Clinton told reporters later that soldiers wanted to know "how the people at home feel about what we are doing."
Clinton said she told the troops, "Americans are wholeheartedly proud of what you are doing but there are many questions at home about the (Bush) administration's policies."
She also suggested that the U.S. could eventually loose the war in Iraq, contending, "We have to exert all of our efforts militarily, but the outcome is not assured."
Despite her sour pronouncements, the former first lady insisted that the soldiers were just as glad to see her as they were President Bush, whose surprise visit less than 24-hours earlier was greeted with standing ovations.
"It's a positive for the commander-in-chief to visit troops in the field," Clinton told reporters, adding, "the troops [also] seemed to appreciate seeing myself."
Speaking from a secure location just over the Kuwaiti border, Mrs. Clinton launched one verbal salvo after another at the White House, arguing that Bush officials had been "obsessed" with getting Saddam Hussein and saying the perception blinded them to the difficulties of deposing his regime.
"The Pentagon tried to make do with as few troops as possible, as light a footprint as they could get away with," Clinton said. "Now, we're playing catchup . . . Unfortunately, I don't think they fully appreciated the conditions we would encounter."
The top Democrat also reprised her charge that the White House is being less than candid when it comes to apprising the American people of the costs of the war.
"The obstacles and problems here are much greater than the administration usually admits to," she said, adding, "Everybody has to be honest."

This has reached the Jane Fonda LEvel of providing aid and comfort to our enemies. I want, nay I DEMAND, charges of providing aid and comfort to our enemies against Senator Hillary Clinton - who's with me? Can we actually push this????

Look at the eyes...That type of lifeless, dead, evil eyes prompted Groucho to say once, "Either she's dead or my watch has stopped."
Her parents apparently hated her. Her bath toys were a toaster and a radio.

Agree.......too bad theres no congresscritter with the balls to call a spade a spade and demand her resignation, ouster, imprisonment, flogging, hard labor and execution. We can and do continue to call for such in letters and meet'n greets with our local polidiots but they are pretty much just whores for money and openly agree and display fake care and concern.. Not one damn congressman out there can or will hold this cunning runt accountable for her crimes against this nation.
Sick....just plain sickening.............Stay Safe !

Clinton told reporters, adding, "the troops [also] seemed to appreciate seeing myself."
"The Clintons are all about me, myself and I."
You nailed it. This is exactly why these people are so sickening. She doesn't have any empathy for the common soldier.
This morning, Fox & Friends did a segment outside on what the people on the street thought about Bush's surprise visit. One guy praised Bush and said that he was in Haiti. He said Clinton went to Haiti, but never meet with the soldiers.

Let's see what the pictures show. Looks to me that Hillary is LYING, as usual.
U.S. soldiers cheer U.S. President George W. Bush (NOT Hillary)

She's just over there trying to sway absentee ballots.I disagree. I think she's there trying to position herself as someone who could be accepted as Commander in Chief, because it is such a freaking REACH to think of her that way.

and even he could only manage to say on the air that the troops were 'relatively excited' to see her.He said off air that the troops with G.W. in Iraq were happier with the dead turkey they were eating than the troops in Afghanistan were with the live turkey they had to eat with! Ha!

You have to remember: over at DU.com, they were happy over 9-11. They want our troops in Iraq slaughtered, so it will look bad for Bush. They are psychotic. They are worthless. The contribute nothing to society, except its further decline. I don't say this lightly. They can't bring themselves to say anything critical about a butchering dictator, yet would love to take part in killing our President, and his family. They don't deserve the freedoms that are being preserved for them with human lives. They are truly soulless individuals.

Hopefully, word of this sedition will spread throughout the ranks quickly. If the armed forces want the truth, they will not listen to the national media and they certainly will not listen to this evil c*nt.

Soldiers wanted to know when the wide-load was going to press her fat cakes back on her broomstick and fly away! They also wanted to know if her overly-larded ankles would have a negative aeronautical effect on her broom flight. OH!!! LOL!!! you really are too kind-hearted in your humor though. "press her fat cakes back on her broomstick and fly away" Such a great line! Thanks for the hearty laugh.
I can hear her shrill delivery now.
It must have really soothed the troops to hear her be so *%$&*# "honest." She doesn't know the meaning of that word.
