Golly, I thought populists liked it when Cruz did that. Now it turns out that type of insolence is a liability in a president. Frankly, that attitude sounds ... establishment-y.
I guess it's time for the "Donald Trump scolding other people for incivility" act of this circus.
Donald Trump bashed Ted Cruz's "temperament" and defended his presidential campaign's ground game during an appearance Tuesday at the John Wayne Birthplace Museum.
"Ted has got a rough temperament, you can't call people liars on the Senate floor when they are your leaders. Not a good thing to do if you want to curry favor and get the positive votes later on own," Trump said....

Trump is a New York narcissistic asshole. Once you understand that everything comes into focus.
Cruze is a true believer. It is just unfathomable to him that people are not as ideological as he is. He can understand people disagreeing with him, but he doesn’t understand people who are supposed to be on the same side ideologically, lying to him.
It was the same way with Karl Rove. Rove is the person who has led the attacks on Cruze, right from the beginning because Rove didn’t want him to run in the Senate. Cruze in the Senate bulldozed the plans that Rove had for Jeb Bush. Rove is truly evil. I wish someone would dig up the Rove divorce papers. I bet that they are really interesting.

How do you square your opinion with his great kids, the fact that his ex-wives speak well of him and his employees have also endorsed him?
I have read of many acts of kindness over the years. The link below runs down a few.
I was the most taken with his sending a jet and nurses to transport a small child with a deathly illness from Israel to NY for treatment. The child was on a ventilator and the commercial airlines wouldn’t transport him. His family was desperate and reached out. Trump didn’t know the family and didn’t publicize the act. The local reformed Jewish newsletter carried the story. Trump’s actions do not resemble remotely those of a self absorbed narcissistic man, except for the man who has only a hammer so can see only nails.
I repeat, if he’s that naive and blind to evil he doesn’t belong in the Whitehouse. I’m not sure I believe that he is since it doesn’t square with his experience but who can know another’s heart.
I totally disagree......Ted did what needed to be done for a very long time, he stood up there and took the hits for all of us, and let it be damned what anyone thought about it. I say hoorahs for TED CRUZ, he spoke for me and many others.
Free Republic has been on the same tear for years now, when will someone speak up for us........now that TED CRUZ did just that he is somehow tainted/spoiled. I think not. He is a Hero aka Mr. Smith.
But they are liars.

That’s just fine we can agree to disagree on this one! I just think that he acted noble and tough and it felt good to see someone speak up but it would have felt better not to have the fast track treaty bill signed and hanging over our heads.
Its like telling off your boss. Feels good but in the end its better to get another job and when you leave keep your mouth closed. When you rise up in the world you can become his boss and be a very good one and you and he will both know who really won.
Looking forward to it. I hope we will both be here and be happier about the State of the Union!
With trump as their “leader,” they’ll all be able to loot the 4 trillion dollar honeypot to their hearts’ content. There will be more than enough to share between donnie and nancy and harry and mitch and paulie.
