Cruze is a true believer. It is just unfathomable to him that people are not as ideological as he is. He can understand people disagreeing with him, but he doesn’t understand people who are supposed to be on the same side ideologically, lying to him.
It was the same way with Karl Rove. Rove is the person who has led the attacks on Cruze, right from the beginning because Rove didn’t want him to run in the Senate. Cruze in the Senate bulldozed the plans that Rove had for Jeb Bush. Rove is truly evil. I wish someone would dig up the Rove divorce papers. I bet that they are really interesting.
I repeat, if he’s that naive and blind to evil he doesn’t belong in the Whitehouse. I’m not sure I believe that he is since it doesn’t square with his experience but who can know another’s heart.
