In the department of Presidential candidates hearing jeers-not-cheers from crowds, Donald J. Trump -- Republican frontrunner, real estate mogul, racist eater of burgers -- is not having a very good week. During Thursday night's Republican debate on Fox Business, Trump faced criticism from the crowd in South Carolina after he attempted to lob attacks at Texas Senator (and closest polling threat) Ted Cruz.
If at first you don't succeed, try and fail again.
On Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of tea party activists, Trump again attempted to toss shade at Cruz, and those in attendance defiantly booed the frontrunner. According to the Associated Press:
"Trump suggested Saturday that the Texas senator is owned by big banks like Citi and Goldman Sachs. The billionaire businessman made the comments at a tea party convention in South Carolina in front of crowd split among supports of the two leading GOP White House contenders."
The below video reveals that the crowd began to turn when Trump said, "You give a campaign contribution to Ted Cruz, you get whatever the hell you want."

Cruz has begun to jeopardize Trump's frontrunner status in recent weeks, and many have argued that Cruz's performance on Thursday night will only increase his support. According to the newest polling data from Real Clear Politics, Cruz falls right into the margin of error with Trump's lead in Iowa, the first state that will caucus in a little over two weeks.
We all know Trump and Cruz need to squabble for the moment, but I sure hope they are smart enough to come together once Trump wins the nomination. The GOPe and Democrats—but I repeat myself—are the real enemy!
It is coda that Trump does not memorize anything. His speeches are ADHD ramblings. It is sheer laziness.
Trump would do better if he’d quit the name calling and personal bashing of everyone. It is getting old and turning me off from him. He should spend more time explaining what he really stands for and what he would do if President.
Trump talked about Ted for 40 seconds, all facts. Like Trump said about super PACs - They are bad news for good people. One superpac collected like 6 million and a few hundred thousand was spent on the candidate. Completely corrupt.
Can’t say I’m swayed by booing.
If Cruz wins Iowa, all bets are off.
They are just Cruz supporters infiltrating Trump Rallies
The establishment would much rather run against Cruz than Trump. HilLIARy (or Sanders) MIGHT BEAT Cruz- maybe not, but its a lot closer than Trump - whou would generate a landslide. Look at the crowds!
And with the typical voter fraud they could pull off a dem win against Cruz. They were able to generate 10% to defeat Romney (he was up by 10 before election day)
More blatant horse crap.
Both McQueeg and Willard didn't have the balls to take on the MSM and the Dems. Trump does. Elmer Gantry Cruz won't be able to pull it off.
lets not forget his WrestleMania Devotees!
ahahahaha THANKS for Tweety!!
That’s not what the head-to-head polls say. Quite the opposite.
This is the first reasonable sentiment I've seen from a Trump supporter. FWIW, I'm sure Cruz will survive. He was a conservative before he was elected to the Senate and despite the GOPe's best efforts has remained a conservative. It's why I support him.
I don't support Trump because he's supposedly only recently become a conservative and he is so quick to personally denigrate anyone who disagrees with him. I thought that despite these things that I don't like about Trump if he were the nominee I would vote for him. I really doubt it now.
Trump started the phony eligibilty issue, even though he knows it has no merit and when given the opportunity to disavow NY values of abortion, homosexual marriage, and big govt he didn't.
interesting Aria, that your tag line appears to show you value the life of the unborn and yet you are going to cast your vote for the guy that likes killing babies when they are born and could live. Have you thought about how sad that is?
Hard to throw crap at people that have done their homework. Those booing probable have read that Cruz did report the loan on one form, if he was hiding it he would not of reported it (public) at all. Politicians that turn half truths into political points don’t score well on those that do their homework.
Seriously, Trump is worse than a 14 year old “Mean Girl” bully. Tweet Tweet Tweet like some little teen aged twerp.
It is not phony, but a live controversy. As one attorney explained it to me, when 80 attorneys can argue it, it is a live controversy and remains a live controversy until the courts settle it. Because it is "only" a constitutional issue the SC has original jurisdiction and must therefore decide the matter.
Talk about POOR judgement, DUnold Trump abounds in it...

All this newfound “conservatism” was denounced by Trump prior to this campaign and still has his wetted finger in the wind awaiting the next poll results. More of those “NY values” at work!
As Limbaugh pointed out, they were bused in GOPes. But you will slather up to anyone if you think they are taking down the guy, your guy can't take down. And for the record, Trump ain't getting booed except for GOPes and wacko Dems... nice company.
You know, you’re on to something there.
