In the department of Presidential candidates hearing jeers-not-cheers from crowds, Donald J. Trump -- Republican frontrunner, real estate mogul, racist eater of burgers -- is not having a very good week. During Thursday night's Republican debate on Fox Business, Trump faced criticism from the crowd in South Carolina after he attempted to lob attacks at Texas Senator (and closest polling threat) Ted Cruz.
If at first you don't succeed, try and fail again.
On Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of tea party activists, Trump again attempted to toss shade at Cruz, and those in attendance defiantly booed the frontrunner. According to the Associated Press:
"Trump suggested Saturday that the Texas senator is owned by big banks like Citi and Goldman Sachs. The billionaire businessman made the comments at a tea party convention in South Carolina in front of crowd split among supports of the two leading GOP White House contenders."
The below video reveals that the crowd began to turn when Trump said, "You give a campaign contribution to Ted Cruz, you get whatever the hell you want."

Cruz has begun to jeopardize Trump's frontrunner status in recent weeks, and many have argued that Cruz's performance on Thursday night will only increase his support. According to the newest polling data from Real Clear Politics, Cruz falls right into the margin of error with Trump's lead in Iowa, the first state that will caucus in a little over two weeks.
Apparently the SC Tea Party folks didn’t get the memo on Trump worship practices and doctrine.
PRAISE BE THE BLESSED NAME OF DONALD TRUMP.
They are.
And they are going to be ticked off even more.
@realDonaldTrump has given $84K to @NYGovCuomo, who says conservatives have no place in NY because they donât share #NewYorkValues
Trump is toast lol.
Lame.
Uh, Trump isn’t saying anything that’s not true. Perhaps instead of thinking the opposition is “duping” people you should look more closely at your own candidate.
“Iâm watching the speech right now and they are NOT âticked offâ.”
I figured not. Every time the MSM reports something like that, it was either not true or a huge exaggeration.
Lots of bias in that article:
“many have argued that Cruz’s performance on Thursday night will only increase his support” - Trump hands down won, and planted lots of seeds of doubt about Cruz’s eligibility. Worse than that, Cruz alienated all New Yorkers while Trump showed how he will fight for his people (the American people - all of them.
“According to the newest polling data from Real Clear Politics, Cruz falls right into the margin of error with Trump’s lead in Iowa” - I thought Cruz was surging, unstoppable- now he’s behind Trump? This is only one state, and a small proportional one at that.
seems that everyone is forgetting something very important. Trump said what he believed and how he felt right there in that room in front of those supporters of Cruz. Unlike Cruz, who goes behind closed doors to disavow the positions he made in front of his supporters. To me, that’s a big deal.
Can you verify the source - if legit, this is yuuge!
LMAO! Poor little donnie is not used to getting his way.
A 3-year-old temper tamper prone braggart.
SO PROUD OF MY SISTERS AND BROTHER TEA PARTIERS!!!!! Expect it to grow. what fun.
Trump's negatives are a very big deal. I expect thuggery to increase at Trump rallies. He hates it when he is not worshipped.
Well a few weeks ago Cruz was supposedly ahead in Iowa. Sounds like Cruz is slipping.
Cruz is a good man, and we need him. I hope he can survive his campaign and worse his supporters because they do him no credit.
Trump will win with the same crowd that elected McCain and Romney to the presidency. Insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
You mean the Bush supporters that were bussed in for a long weekend in SC?
Also, Trump says what he thinks, doesn't memorize talking points. Cruz's debate performance was over rehearsed.
You act like this is some sort of revelation. Trump has been talking about this almost- or literally, from Day One, as an example of how corrupt Washington DC is, It’s the reason he doesn’t accept large donations & why he threw a fit when people tried to form PACs on his behalf.
Anyone else hear that Bush is going to get out of race? It is on FB.
Maybe he should have bussed in some dem union goons to keep everyone in line.
More importantly, as soon as he is done speaking, they start rushing to the stage to get pictures, autographs, etc. That doesn't seem ticked off to me, either.
“Racist eater of burgers!!”
I stopped reading after that.
This is politics as usual. Cruz will survive this. Like I’ve said before, this may all be contrived by the two front runners....guess who is not being talked about as this is going on? Everybody else.
