Santorum, who has running for President for years now, ticked off Beck et al with a video political advertisement that went after Beck show darling, Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
In the video ad, entitled "Fairy Tales", which contrasts and compares the Senate history's of the two Republican candidates, mocking Cruz for reading "Green Eggs and Ham" during a filibuster a couple of years ago. Not a really good argument, but an ad just the same.
This and other attacks on Sen Cruz drew comments from the Beck crew including today when the host himself said of Santorum, "Rick, you're dead to us".
This does and doesn't come as a surprise. Let me explain. George Washington an extremist? The DOD manual indicates he might have been one by their criteria photo
First it does since Beck once said in late 2011, "If there is one guy out there that is the next George Washington, the only guy that I could think of is Rick Santorum. I would ask that you would take a look at him."
I remember hearing that line from Beck and thought to myself at the time, what is this guy thinking. Did he graduate from the Limbaugh Institute of Conservative Studies? Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum has drawn the ire of the crew of the Glenn Beck Radio Program.
Then again it doesn't come as a surprise they turned on Santorum, who I am no fan of, but in the same way Hannity and to a lesser degree Limbaugh fawn all over Donald Trump, you would think the Glenn Beck Program is working for the Ted Cruz for President campaign.
While I like to listen to the show because he talks about things others don't, progressivism and similar topics, consistency has never been a hallmark to Glenn Beck's thought process.
Beck has been dead to me since his “if you vote for Newt, you must oppose Obama because you’re a racist!” crap.
Beck is a loose cannon, goes with the interminable tangents he shoots off on. Glen, you have outlived your day.
Lets see if I can find this Santorum ad. ...
Around the time ppl finally convinced me to give Beck a chance, I read how he was “reaching out” and soliciting holistic herbal organic healing advice/consultation from Mrs. Don Imus, a leftwing nutcase full of nonsense.
Next!
Glenn Beck on my radio...
more time to do something else
That’s not very nice Glenn. Everybody but Rick Santorum knows he’s not going to be president. We just tolerate his presence until he runs out of money and quits, as Huckabee, Paul and Kasich will soon be doing, followed a few weeks later by Jeb!
One need not attack Santorum as though he was your sworn enemy. He is a politician. He is competing for the same job as Cruz, therefore, Rick is going to say stuff.
Glenn makes himself look unreasonably intolerant when he sounds off this way. In fact, I can’t think of the last time Glenn B. was in the news for saying something positive, about anybody. Sarah Palin often let’s us know what is working well and who can be trusted. Glenn is becoming a Tea Party’s Taliban.
Doesn’t he have some teddy-bears to hand out to illegal aliens... between his crying jags?
Glenn Beck has a thought process?
Here it is a radio ad and Beck for 4 minutes...
“The Glenn Beck Program Beck Blitz: Rick Santorum’s new ad is insulting 01 04 16”

“If you want Ted Cruz to read you one hell of a bedtime story, Ted Cruz is your guy.”

The illegal-alien loving lunatic Beck’s enthusiastic support for Ted Cruz ought to give conservatives pause. Today the former drug addict also picked his #2...Marco Rubio, a “solid conservative” (Glenn said) who would “crush Hillary.”
Someone ought to tell the scribbler his apostrophe's hanging out.
there must be a lot of people with radios that have broken tuning knobs, cuz I can’t imagine listening to him. But I can’t stand the boring repetitive dunderhead Hannity either, and it goes downhill from there.
That is a valid point and it would require the name calling Cruz supporters to do some weird twisting to walk back all their ‘Beck is insane’ commentary.
I haven’t listened to him in years, did he really say Rubio is his number two? That’s just sad.
Beck has a thought process? Seems to have really gotten bad since he started taking Ritalin.
Glen Beck is off his meds.
Under new guns regulation, I hope his shrink reports to Feds.
“Glenn Beck has a thought process?”
Oh, yes, indeed. If you look into his eyes, you can sometimes see the tiny spark that goes off inside of his head when his two neurons occasionally bang into each other.
Santorum isn't (really) running for anything ... is no threat to anyone ... and is a decent man, a lot smarter than many so called conservatives.
“Glen Beck is off his meds.”
Don’t you mean: Glenn Beck is off his meds AGAIN?
