eled by derision for politics as usual, Donald Trump has vaulted to the top of the Republican race for president among California voters, a new USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll has found.

Trump won the support of 24% of California Republicans surveyed, while Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon and lesser-known conservative favorite, was backed by 18%. More than a dozen other candidates, most of them elected politicians, resided in the single digits, far behind the leaders.

I hope it's a trend. I'm fed up with politicians. It's time we had a government "of the people, by the people, for the people" again. This jackboots on the throats of Americans bull**** has got to go.

Sorry guys but I don’t want Carson as POTUS or V.P.

Can Trump pick anyone he wants, or does he have to go with whoever is second?

Carson will not be in the race come June, 2016 and the CA Republican Primary.

Trump will, and he will win all of California's delegates.

CA is a "Winner take all" state in the primaries. If Bush and/or Rubia are still in the race, CA will be their graveyard.

May depend on delegate count at the GOP convention in Ohio?
I would prefer Cruz, over Carson and Carson over FioRino.

Please remember, Trump is primarily favoring the middle class, and wants the paper shufflers on Wall Street to pay their fair share in taxes. We can’t have a family making $100,000 paying more tax percentage than a hedge fund operator making $50,000,000.

This is the most unusual year in politics since I got interested in politics watching JFK and Nixon debates.

I can’t ever recall any republican candidate, including Ronald Reagan, leading polls in all 50 states.

Looks to me like America is finally waking up.

I think Walker is still ahead in WI. I don’t expect that to last long.

He picks whomever he wants. Hopefully he won’t make the mistake Reagan made and select a Bush or someone like him.

We had one television set, my mother, grandmother and I all watched. I was the only one in the room who actually spoke English. My mother had been working for a few years so she could speak some English but my grandmother couldn’t speak a word. I was the official translator. :^D

After HW Bush, the whole Republican party went down hill. We need a large group of talented people who will be the counter establishment. Winning a presidency isn’t enough. WE have had many years of the establishment crowd, it is time to build up a large team of good patriotic people.

Look at McConnell and Boehner, what a difference it would make if we had real leaders who took their job seriously.
