Faded, former-media darling Katie Couric hosted Republican Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for a full-hour to discuss a wide range of issues Monday. The left-wing anchor, who is now perched at a place called Yahoo!, introduced Cruz as a historic candidate potentially the first American president to be born in Canada. Later in the interview, she questioned Cruz on his citizenship.
The look on Courics smug face when he correctly reminded her that it was the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2008 that birthed the anti-Obama Birther movement, is priceless.
It all starts at right around the 25 minute mark.

CRUZ: You know its interesting, the whole Birther thing was started by the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2008 against Barack Obama
This is a fact, one even admitted to by the left-wing Politico....

You can’t get country back by backing Obamatrade, the biggest middle-class job killer since NAFTA, because your rich donors and Chamber of Commerce told you to.
I used IE and it played fine.
“Is there a YT for this? I am sick and tired of going to sites that freeze or wont play vid because of incompatibility or ads.”
The first time it froze because of ads. I Went back a second time and it played well without ads.
When Katie asked senator Cruz, what would you do with the 11 million illegals? Would you send them back? I was hoping Cruz would say “Yes, they broke our immigration laws, and therefore they need to go back and apply for legal entry”. Instead Cruz said “we can deal with it later, after securing the border”.
Why wait till the wall is built and border is secured? That will take years. In the meanwhile more illegals are arriving by the hundreds of thousands every year. Why would it be easier to deport illegals if we give them many more years to remain in the country? Frankly I am disappointed.
Yes, Katie found out Cruz is not Palin.
He replied that way so that Katie didn’t lead him off message which is to close the borders. Katie wanted to make it about all those poor hardworking “immigrants” instead of illegal immigration itself.
Write this down: No one who has a serious chance of being the next president is going to round-up millions of FAMILIES and put them in cattle cars, buses, train cars, airplanes, trucks or ANYTHING ELSE. Do you understand? We all have fantasies here about that, but it is NOT going to happen. Between smartphone cameras, the local, national and international media, lawyer’s guilds, the ACLU and such, LaRaza, LULAC, NGOs by the thousands, the left-wing churches, the United Nations, the Organization of American States and everybody else putting their nose in, it would be the biggest “humanitarian” public relations disaster since the Pentagon Papers. Don’t you see it? Ike ain’t president anymore and this isn’t 1954.
If you bother reading my posts, I never recommend any of the methods you ranted in your post.
I have posted a dozen times the easiest to get rid of illegals is...but I will summarize it again for your benefit.
Pass a law which requires MANDATORY 1 year prison term to the CEO of any outfit for each illegal employed in his/her outfit. Much more cost efficient than building a multi-Billion dollar wall, and employing thousands of border guards.
To achieve any result remove the incentive.
Banana Republics like Honduras have national photo ID cards required to vote and get a job. That will make it easier for teh CEO’s to weed out the illegals.
On the whole Cruz handled the perky Katie interview well.
Amen. Wasn't she horrid to Sarah Palin, also? I haven't watched much of her over the years...and seeing a few minutes of this interview showed me there is no need to.
