Precious Lord,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly placers in Christ. Our Heavenly Father, You are the beautiful, spiritual model for all earthly fathers. On this day when we honor our fathers, we ask You to help us to honor You first with our lives. You are perfect, Father God, and You teach us to be holy as You are Holy.” Though our earthly fathers may fail us, yet You never leave us nor forsake us. You love Your children so completely, so eternally, and so much more than we can imagine or think. Thank You, Abba Father, for being more than enough for us all.
Lord, we ask You to bless fathers this day with the desire to be the spiritual leaders of their households. We pray that they would rise up and be the godly compass for their families---showing them the ways of righteousness. May they provoke not their children, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. And may they love their wives as Christ has loved the Church and has given Himself for it. We come against every lie that is circulating against fatherhood in this nation and we pray for Your truth and Your will about the need for fathers to prevail over all falsehoods that have been perpetrated regarding the need for strong, loving male leadership in families.
Thank You for Your hand on President Trump’s life this past week, Lord, and for the success You afforded him as he dealt with the Iran War. May Your Holy Spirit guide him and may he continue to grow in grace and in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Help him to confidently address whatever comes his way, knowing that You will guide him with Your mind’s eye. We pray that You would never cease to be his shield, his strength, and his strong tower. We say in Jesus’ Name that no weapon formed against him shall prosper!
Father, we commit our military men and women who are separated from their children. Strengthen those who are headed for deployment. Lord, our hearts go out to these brave young people. We know that You will care for them and that Your shield and banner will go before them.
Lord, please call the men of this nation to rise up and follow You as they seek to protect and provide for their families. Thank You for being our peace in our homes, schools, churches, workplaces and communities. And may Your Name be glorified in all of our lives both now and evermore. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Please join us in prayer as we lay our requests before the Lord.

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
AMEN! Thank you. Joining in prayer today.
Amen, Faith
