I ask for this reason:
The Book of Revelation, although full of images that can be kind of hard to define, seems to lay out a sequence how God plans to bring this world to its conclusion.
We're supposed to see the revealing and rise of the Antichrist first, as well as many other signs in the heavens and on Earth. Massive nuclear destruction in which most of the world's population is killed does NOT (at least in my thought) jibe with what the Bible says.
I'm not even going to touch on the Rapture, whether you believe in it or not. It just doesn't seem to me that God would have a massive nuclear war break out which discounts what is written in His Word.
If WWIII DOES happen, what does that say about His existence? If the world's end doesn't coincidence with what the Bible says is supposed to happen, what does it say about what we've believed for thousands of years?
I believe that God is REAL, and that Jesus came down from Heaven, died for pur sins, and rose again so we could join Him one day. I do NOT want a nuclear war to happen. But...if one does, what does that tell us? If the book of Revelation doesn't happen because we're all dead, what does that say about our beliefs?
I am scared because of what's happening right now. I write this down because it is at the forefront of my thinking, and I'm dreading whay may happen. I have been praying (as I'm sure many others are) that this doesn't go nuclear, and that tensions get eased.
Psalm 19
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard
The Anti-Christ comes out of the ashes of WW3.
No it doesn't prove anything. Except that the above warning is true. God is in control, you have a manual that tells us how everything ends up, the good guys win ;). Take heart and be of good courage, The Lord is still on His throne.
Everything always was, and will be, in His way and in His time.
I say let go, and trust in God.
Why does World War III (which depending on how you number things could have been either the cold war or the war on terror and so already have happened) have to be The Big One?
Relax and let Him do His thing in His own time and place.
War has not added to Death; Death is total in every generation.

The flaw in the premise is that a nuclear wouldn’t wipe out the entire population of the world.
Lighten up, Francis
France vs. the UK in the 1700’s fought on two continents.
And?
For Goodness’ sake, h62! Nothing could indicate, or should ever be interpreted by anyone, to indicate any such thing.
To get a notion like that is to know that your intellect is darkening.
Exactly.
It all centers around Israel and their very existence is proof enough alone.
The Rapture of the church is next up and will be even more proof for everyone.
FEAR NOT !

First, no, WWIII does not deny the existence of God. The Book of Revelation, and Daniel, and Ezekiel, and all the other prophecies will play out as God dilineates. It will not necessarily play out according to our interpretations and understanding of those prophecies. We could be wrong.
My recommendation is for you to stop watching current events. I know it is a habit for many of us, but take a break. Go outside, if it isn't too cold, and sit and look around you. Listen to the birds. Smell flowers. Breathe in fresh air. Take your Bible with you and read through the Psalms slowly. Read the Gospels slowly. Do this every day for two weeks.
Tell your family you love them and give them genuine compliments. Live your life more slowly.
God is sovereign. He doesn't need you to be aware of every thing going on in this world. Even Jesus took retreats. You may retreat, too.
No, not at all. Man was granted free will by the Lord. Wars are man’s doing, not the Lord’s doing.
Then why be scared? God's got this. Nothing is beyond His control.
Is that a serious question? The answer is NO.
