"We in America have little understand of the concept of standing let alone suffering for the sake of the Gospel. This was an inspiring and needed reminder that our time is coming. We MUST prepare our hearts, our spirits now or fail in shame before the cloud of witnesses. The testimonies of the faithful in your homeland have motivated me since my childhood. I praise God for their light that has reflected HIS glorious Light"
Prayer:
Lord God, help us to prepare for the scenario above. Pull us out of the Laodicean church, wake the churches to action. Thrust us out into the "field white unto harvest", as in Matthew 9:38. Help us to "Pray without ceasing", as in 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
You said in Your Word in Matthew 10:8 to "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."
We pray for our country and those in positions of governmental and legal and financial power, that they may turn and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, friend, and Lord, and repent of their sins and be saved and go to Heaven. And that they desire the the seven spirits of God in Isaiah 11:2 to govern the USA in a Godly manner - Wisdom, Counsel, Understanding, Might, Knowledge, the Spirit of God, and the Spirit of Fear of the Lord.
Increase in the USA, and remind us to understand that the Lord Jesus Christ came to separate the tares from the wheat, and the sheep from the goats, and the believers from the unbelievers, as in:
(Matthew 10:34) "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."
