Dear LORD, this pray is being sent through the lyrics of a song: Nothing Else by Cody Carnes. Please accept both the song of praise and the prayer of worship as we seek You.

Nothing else will do . . . when we pray for our families. Broken homes, where hatred and bitterness thrive. Prayers are petitions, but unless Dear JESUS, You enter a heart, transform a mind, reform a spirit within each person, the GOOD FRUIT of LOVE, PEACE, PATIENCE, FORGIVENESS, JOY, and such will never heal a family. NOTHING ELSE WILL DO – JUST YOU.
Nothing else will do . . . when we pray for our Nation and our leaders. We pray for a return to the Constitution, but what is the Constitution if the NAME OF GOD is made void, and the PRINCIPLES and PRECEPTS of GOD are removed, and the LAWS of GOD are not written on the hearts of those who lead. NOTHING ELSE WILL DO – JUST YOU.
Nothing else will do . . . when we pray about the deceptions in the minds of our young. But unless Dear JESUS, these ones are both directed to and encouraged with the TRUTH, spoken in love, but not pandered and pampered, or spoken harshly without the sweet aroma of FREEDOM that YOU BRING to captive minds, NOTHING ELSE WILL DO, not political correct agendas, political party propaganda, socialistic theologies, new age mysticism, - JUST YOU.
Nothing else will do . . . when we pray for the church. Dear JESUS, YOU have left warnings, teachings, words of discipline and encouragement, and direction toward renewal to the churches through the first few chapters in the Book of Revelation. The church has compromised, in many ways, have turned self-sufficient and self-centered, has lost its calling and vision by promoting grace without the mention of sin and its effects on a life, without the mention of atonement and one carrying the cross of Christ and crucifying the flesh, without the doctrines of Holiness in which no one will not see GOD. Without MERCY and JUSTICE so not to offend. And dismiss Hell, as if eternity does not exist outside of Heaven. NOTHING ELSE WILL DO – Wake up the church Dear LORD.
Nothing else will do . . . when we pray for ourselves. Oh PRECIOUS SAVIOR, the LOVE and LIFE of our very being. Help us to ever and always stay close to YOU. In our doubts, in our fears, in our worship, in our joys, in our sufferings, in our successes, in our failures, may we always abide in YOU, run to the FATHER, and listen for the direction of the HOLY SPIRIT. NOTHING ELSE WILL DO.

Lord, You are the God of peace and love in Whom I place my trust. Give me a peaceful heart that rests in You and a loving spirit that pours fourth Your love to others.
Lord, You are the God of comfort and rest in Whom I put my hope. Give me a heart that abides in You so that Your comfort may stream through me to others who need comfort and strength.
Lord, You are the God of hope and joy in Whom I stand secure. Give me a spirit of devotion that worships only You so that I may be a worthy witness that points to Jesus, for in Him is all peace and love and comfort and rest and hope and joy and love.
