Scientists have found evidence of a cosmic airburst event around 1650 BCE that devastated the ancient city of Tall el-Hammam in the southern Jordan Valley, causing extreme temperatures and depositing high concentrations of salt. This event, potentially inspiring the biblical tales of Sodom and Jericho’s destruction, might have also led to a mass abandonment of cities in the region during the “Late Bronze Age Gap.”

In the Middle Bronze Age (about 3,600 years ago or roughly 1650 BCE), the city of Tall el-Hammam was ascendant. Located on high ground in the southern Jordan Valley, northeast of the Dead Sea, the settlement in its time had become the largest continuously occupied Bronze Age city in the southern Levant, having hosted early civilization for a few thousand years. At that time, it was 10 times larger than Jerusalem and 5 times larger than Jericho.

Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim were in the Valley of Siddim, and their sites are now under the Dead Sea, which formed after the cataclysm. Only the "little" Zoar site (presumably a small fort that controlled one of the important approaches or trade routes) remained visible when the Israelites returned from Egypt.

The Turkish Andalou news service reported that a film crew led by Cem Sertesen, who spent the past 22 years in search of the ark. Certessen released a documentary about finding the ark in 2017.

His search focused on the Durupınar site, a 150-meter-long formation among the mountains. The site is a large aggregate structure on Mount Tendürek in eastern Turkey about two miles north of the Iranian border at an elevation of about 2,000 meters above sea level. The spot is over 50 miles from the nearest body of water.

Computer engineer and archaeologist Andrew Jones joined with geophysicist John Larsen in using 3D imaging technology to scan under the ground. The images were gathered by sending electric signals underground via cables.

Sertesen confirmed that the images seemed to show a ship.

“These are the actual images of the Noah’s Ark. They are neither fake nor simulation. They show the entire ship buried underground.” Sertesen told The Hurriyet Daily News . “It’s a ship, but it’s too early to call it Noah’s Ark. We have to do a lot of work. This can only be done with the support of universities and the Turkish state.”

If the new discovery is confirmed, it will prove the historical accuracy of the Biblical account of the flood during the time of Noah which describes the final resting spot of the ark as being in the Ararat mountains.

Sorry Dude, but you are delusional. Anyone with an IQ of at least 40 can clearly see the scans for themselves. They are 100% legit. John Larsen is a credentialed expert in his field and highly regarded. On the other hand, you are quite pathetic. The good news for you is that more scans are to be performed next year, from what I read, by other teams of engineers. Should be interesting. I have no doubt that they will validate/duplicate John Larsen’s published findings.

By the way, the “WOOD” is petrified and infused/saturated with minerals from the surrounding earth.
