In this video we discuss why all Christians should pray the Rosary.
Pagan practice.
Believers should pray to God alone.
And here we go.
How about you explain how a series of prayers that contemplates the life of Jesus, that has the Our Father, Glory Be, Hail Mary, etc is a pagan practice?
Or is it just because you call everything Catholic pagan?
Why pray to Mary? She was a sinner and in need of salvation through Jesus, just like the rest of us.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Please watch the video.
As I’m sure you know, Protestants don’t venerate Mary nearly as much as Catholics do. I suppose that’s where an objection might be.
I would strongly disagree with any such objections. Catholics and Protestants both get all the important things right. Sure, there is some disagreements around the edges. That is to be expected.
Anyone who demands 100% agreement from his fellow Christians would soon find himself in a church consisting of one member.
Show anywhere in all scripture
where any prayer was ever addressed
to anyone other than God
- except a pagan god or idol?
Or where a Christian was ever commanded
to pray to anyone other than God?
Matthew 6:7 - “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.”
Mary is dead. She doesn’t need our prayers.
Or where a Christian was ever commanded
to pray to anyone other than God?
I can think of only one reason. You don’t know the Father.
Ah, but it is not really praying we are told. It is like asking someone to pray for you.
You get down on your knees and can talk to Mary or the Father. There is a choice there. Which is obviously better?
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus

It’s a short video and worth watching.
Who knows, you might learn something other than often repeated talking points.
Easy. Read revelations where the prayers of the saints are offered to God in the form of sweet incense. Those prayers are to the saints for their intercession.
We are also instructed to pray for one another. Why don’t you tell the Jesus “why don’t you just pray directly to God”.
And what makes you think that if it isn’t explicitly written in the bible it’s forbidden, except for your Protestant tradition?
Y’all need to read more about “babbling of the pagans” because, using your logic, you couldn’t say a single prayer, including the Lord’s prayer, more than once.
I bet it’s just because the practice is Catholic and you have no idea what the Rosary truly is.
Rosary: An exercises to arrive at forgiveness and salvation. Can a person accomplish the same end without the rosary? I’m sure so. The stinkpot is the minority of churchgoers who believe that they are already forgiven, and see no need to supplicate for propitiation.
The words of the "Hail Mary" are based on the angel's greeting to Mary, as recorded in the Gospel of Luke. The angel was conveying God's message to Mary.
So Catholics are only affirming what God said.
Matthew Chapter 13 Verses 55 & 56 list Jesus having four Brothers and Sisters (plural).
It is the official position of the Roman Catholic Church that Jesus’ mother Mary remained a virgin for her entire life. This in contradiction to scripture.
Only Jesus, the firstborn, was born of the virgin Mary who conceived Jesus via the Holy Ghost. Jesus had many brothers and sisters all of which were born after Him to Mary that were conceived by Joseph’s seed.
The Roman Catholic Church views Mary as "Queen of Heaven." Catholics are taught that Mary has an exalted place in Heaven, with the closest access to Jesus and God the Father. Such a concept is nowhere taught in Scripture.
Further, even if Mary did occupy such an exalted position, her having sexual intercourse would not have prevented her from gaining such a position. Sex in marriage is not sinful. Mary would have in no way defiled herself by having sexual relations with Joseph her husband. The entire concept of the perpetual virginity of Mary is based on an unbiblical teaching, Mary as Queen of Heaven, and on an unbiblical understanding of sexual relations.
Preach it.

Protestants often say, "I'll pray for you." Or they ask others to pray for them.
Which is better? Asking the Mother of God to pray for you? Or asking your next door neighbor?
I’d like to see anywhere in Scripture where prayer beads are instructed to be used.
