Or where a Christian was ever commanded
to pray to anyone other than God?


Why would anyone pray to someone other than the Father as Jesus instructs.

I can think of only one reason. You don’t know the Father.

Ah, but it is not really praying we are told. It is like asking someone to pray for you.

You get down on your knees and can talk to Mary or the Father. There is a choice there. Which is obviously better?

Protestants often say, "I'll pray for you." Or they ask others to pray for them.

Which is better? Asking the Mother of God to pray for you? Or asking your next door neighbor?
