FATHER GOD,

Keep me safe, O GOD, for I have come to You for refuge.

I said to the LORD, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from You.” The godly people in the land are my true heroes! I take pleasure in them! Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods. I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods.

LORD, You alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. The land You have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance!

I will bless the LORD Who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.

No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. For You will not leave my soul among the dead or allow Your Holy One to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of Your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever. (Psalm 16)

FATHER GOD, a spirit of fear has gripped our nation as the birth pains of CHRIST’s return intensify. CHRIST warned us,

“ they will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

“Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are My followers. And many will turn away from Me and betray and hate each other. And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:4-14)

This is the time for believers to arise and shine the light of CHRIST wherever they go! Sadly, many believers lights are dim, snuffed out through indifference, paralyzed by fear, or are ignorant of the times in which they live.

Help us work hard so we can present ourselves to You and receive Your approval. May we be good workers, those who do not need to be ashamed and who correctly explain the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Help us stand on Your faithful promises in difficult times and not fall prey to the spirit of fear.

As the persecution of Christians intensify, may we recall the words of Paul…

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

In His kindness GOD called you to share in His eternal glory by means of CHRIST JESUS. So, after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation. All power to Him forever! Amen. (1 Peter 5:8-11)

Strengthen the spirits of President Trump and his family, the January 6 political prisoners and all who face persecution for CHRIST’s sake. May justice be given to these freedom loving citizens. Give back what has been taken from them.

Dear Lord, we beseech Thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice ! Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !

Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over Your children ! Send forth Your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !

Prayer To Be Kept From Fear And Confusion

Oh Lord God, there are times that I become so fearful. There is so much sadness and hardship that seems to be flooding the world today. The news on the TV and internet seems to contradict what is actually happening in our lives, and at times I feel too afraid to even switch on the news. Lord, there is so much poverty and hardship, so much disease and distress that seems to be plaguing the lives of so many people. We hear of earthquakes and volcanoes, wars and killings, storms and floods, fires and famine, and debt spiralling out of control. At times it seems that the world has all gone mad.

But Lord, I know that my trust should be in You, every moment of the day, for You are ultimately in control and there is nothing that happens in the world today that You do not permit. I admit Lord, that I do not understand all that is happening, but I want to trust You, and pray that when fear starts to rise up in my throat, that You will quiet my heart and enable me to relax into You.

Help me Lord, to turn my mind from the distresses of the news and prevent fear from flooding my heart, I pray. Help me Lord, to keep the eyes of my heart focussed on the truth of Your Word, for I know that it is only in You that our souls will rest in safety and peace.

Thank You Lord,
