Led by a respected former PM, and given a lot of resources by the Russian State, meet the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society
The Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society, a humanitarian NGO founded in Russia 140 years ago, now plays a key role in expanding Russian influence in the Middle East and beyond. As relations between Russia and the Western world plunge, Middle East and African countries engage in developing ties with Moscow. It is also quite remarkable that this rapprochement is based not so much on political foundations as on the common values and moral foundations.
The Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society (IOPS) is the oldest scholarly and humanitarian non-governmental organization in Russia. Recovering after decades of being largely underestimated by the Communist government, it has now regained its former role as an important peacemaker in the turbulent region. Operating as an independent entity it maintains strong ties both with the Russian Orthodox Church and with the federal Government.
The IOPS is led by its chairman - the former Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Stepashin, whereas the IOPS Committee of Honorary Members is headed by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. It also includes Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, Russian diplomats and top managers of major corporations.
From the very start the IOPS took Chi Rho as its emblem, with a saying by a Prophet: “For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest" (Isaiah, 62:1) as the motto of the Society.

“Hahahahahahahaha.
They’re going to protect Christians in Israel? Maybe those fucking jackasses should start by protecting Christians in Ukraine?”
He is. The Russian Christians Nazi Ukraine was trying to exterminate.
You should educate yourself on what the NAZIS in Ukraine have been doing to Russian children and their mothers since 2014, the coup the US plotted.
We know nazi's by their actions, Russian soldiers executing civilians in Ukraine. Russian propagandists on Russian state tv promoting genocide, with calls of elimination of Ukraine as a state.
Meanwhile in Russia: the host and his guest concur that Ukraine should be erased off the map and even the memory that it existed should be destroyed. The host says that Russia will always be an empire and being in a state of war is only natural for any empire of Russia's size.
Putin's clients include Assad, a secular Muslim who protects Christians (as did Saddam, another secular Muslim who was overthrown by the Neocons).

Really? Please list the places where Ukrainians have set up death camps to “exterminate” Russian Christians.
When you fail, and we both know you will, you should realize you’re posting unhinged nonsense.
Assad has zero money to offer Putin.
He’s supported just to rent a destabilizing force.
But, yes, there are zero “good guys” in Syria at the moment, I fully agree. Just various shades of crap. Maybe the Druze are OK, but that even depends on the tribe.
