Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.
This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for. (Hebrews 11:1-3)

FATHER GOD,

Thank you for the men and women of faith in the Bible.

Through faith’s power they conquered kingdoms and established true justice. Their faith fastened onto their promises and pulled them into reality! It was faith that shut the mouth of lions, put out the power of raging fire, and caused many to escape certain death by the sword. Although weak, their faith imparted power to make them strong! Faith sparked courage within them and they became mighty warriors in battle, pulling armies from another realm into battle array. Faith-filled women saw their dead children raised in resurrection power. Yet it was faith that enabled others to endure great atrocities. They were stretched out on the wheel and tortured and didn’t deny their faith in order to be freed, because they longed for a more honorable and glorious resurrection!

Others were mocked and experienced the most severe beating with whips; they were in chains and imprisoned. Some of these faith champions were brutally killed by stoning, being sawn in two or slaughtered by the sword. These lived in faith as they went about wearing goatskins and sheepskins for clothing. They lost everything they possessed, they endured great afflictions, and they were cruelly mistreated. They wandered the earth living in the desert wilderness, in caves, on barren mountains and in holes in the earth. Truly, the world was not even worthy of them, not realizing who they were.

These were the true heroes, commended for their faith, yet they lived in hope without receiving the fullness of what was promised them. But now You, GOD, have invited us to live in something better than what they had—faith’s fullness! This is so that they could be brought to finished perfection alongside of us. (Hebrews 11:33-40).

LORD, the world turns against Christianity. We see today’s heroes of faith – persecuted believers who stare death in the eye without flinching or caving in on their beliefs. Many go to their graves giving You praise and glory. Give us that fervor and passion as we build our faith by hearing Spirit-filled teachers, preachers, evangelists, and meditating on the Holy Scriptures.

Thank You we have the blessing of living faith’s fullness through CHRIST’S Victory! Teach us to meld our faith with the power of Your WORD and the resurrection power of HOLY SPIRIT that brought CHRIST back from the dead and Who lives in us! May we too be faith champions and do great exploits for Your glory as we conquer the enemies of darkness in JESUS Name.

Hide Your Word in our hearts, LORD, so we will be careful to obey what is written in it. (Joshua 1:8). Give us strength and courage as we remember Your great and mighty Promises: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your GOD is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9).

You, LORD, are on our side! You go with us to fight against our enemies and give us the victory! (Deuteronomy 20:4). You will never leave us or forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6). You have given us Your Spiritual Armor to fight against the schemes of the enemy! (Ephesians 6:11). You are our Refuge and our Strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1). We can be overcomers, because You are in us and greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4). We can be still and rest in You. (Psalm 46:10).

Help us to remain steadfast under trial so we will receive the crown of life, which You have Promised to those who love You. (James 1:12).

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.

I have a prayer request. My son Bill was last heard from three months ago. He’s a. brilliant guy, but a dreadful alcoholic. Alwayus the best-looking and smartest person in the family, he’s now missing somewhere, I think, in Seattle. His birthday was October 7, but didn’t pick up his online birthday card, and my SIL, who works for the Sheriff’s department in North Idaho, cannot find him either.

Please pray for Bill, may God keep him safe, and may his family hear from him.

Asking now for You to mold the prayer warriors and intercessors here into what You want us to do.

Have recently picked up again a book about Rees Howells, prayer intercessor in Wales, last century.

Lord God, he led a tiny Bible college group to pray before and during WWII against Hitler, whom he called “the beast”.

Please raise up more. Make us like that. We are again and always in war, and need more help and more laborers, and more people to turn the hearts of our leaders and those in authority to You and to do Your will.

We ask that You grant us to do that which You would have us do, we ask that You work through us to take Your gospel to the world. Raise up more intercessors, dear God. Make us the ones here to be as effective as him. Mould us. Send more laborers out into the harvest field as in Matthew 9:38, Luke 10:2 and John 4:35.

Grant us more time before Revelation 14:15

Lord God, we are learning what You have already done through others. Please use us to continue and expand Your work, through intercessors here and elsewhere, that the light of this country be seen to be wholly of You and that You show us how to pray to defeat the enemy threatening to completely overwhelm us, fueled by the devil’s fifth column inside our country, our government, our schools, our law enforcement, our armed forces and our churches.

Those words ought to inspire us today—those who are contending in prayer for spiritual air supremacy, standing in the victory of the cross of Christ like Rees Howells and his company.

Heavenly Father, please do this again, through us. Use us. Send more. Give us souls. Send us out as laborers, help us witness to our city councils, our mayors, our county boards, our state legislators, our governors, our representatives in congress, our senators, our local and state law enforcement and all those in the FBI and our armed forces.

Make us intercessors and soul winners. Make us willing to be willing. Us us to pray and defeat the adversary and win souls for Your kingdom. We began by praying for this nation Lord, and for souls. Let there be no conflict.

Dear Lord, we beseech thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice !
