After all, Satan's bait was that Adam and Eve would become as gods. And together with Satan, that would seem to them to be at least two or possibly three gods (if Satan was believed to be a god as well) against one.
You know, I never thought of that. But they are not biological, so they do not reproduce, They were created,
Interesting theory! Have you ever seen this to be true for vanities on FR?
No. God the Creator is Omnipresent and Omnipotent. This line of speculation is ludicrous on its face.
No; socialism and Christianity do not have the same goals at all.
Careful reading required, apparently.
It should be clear that “the plan” wasn’t referring to God’s, but what Satan and possibly Adam and Eve came up with, an unholy plan to expel God from the Garden so as to live there by themselves and do as they please. But instead, they were expelled.
True, I agree they are not biological and created.
But I haven’t found one example of a female angel in the Bible.
Demons might be different.
The two most popular theories on them is that:
1. They are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim (Genesis 6), who were offspring of Fallen Angels and Human Women.
2. They are leftover fallen angels from Satan’s rebellion.
There was also another rebellion mentioned in Daniel 4 with a group called “The Watchers”. They are affiliated with Mt. Hermon and were supposed to guide the nations of the earth towards God, but rebelled and watched to be worshipped themselves in a nutshell.

Not “watched” sorry.
I disagree. They just don’t define goodness the same. However, more importantly, they define the pathway to their definitions differently.
I’ve talked with a lot of liberals and theme of mandatory goodness to achieve maximum goodness keeps cropping up. I’m fully convinced, since most liberals are hostile to Christianity that they are following their master’s view on life.
“The plan” was referring to Satan’s and possibly Adam and Eve’s to perhaps try to rid themselves of God until Adam and Eve saw they didn’t become as gods after all.
While the Divine Son of God is the ultimate scapegoat, the devil is the ultimate false accuser. He first enviously implicitly accused God of being unworthy of His position in presuming that he, a beautiful, gifted (Ezekiel 28:11–15, typified as the king of Tyrus) created being, would be as God, in the first "occupy movement." (Isaiah 14:13,14)
Next, being cast down for his selfish, utterly unwarranted self-exaltation he next showed his true colors by essentially telling Eve that she was being treated unjustly by God due to the sole restricted placed upon Adam and Eve, and that it was her right to be as God (essentially inculcating the victim-entitlement ethos), who needed to "share the wealth." And rather than suffering for disobedience, the devil (“a liar, and the father of it:” John 8:44) further lied by teaching that this power was to be justly obtained by disobedience to God.
But instead this resulted in the devil obtaining power while she and her (more accountable) husband - who gave into her - suffered, as did all man was made steward over.
Likewise, classic Communists as proxy servants of the devil, as well as self-assumed liberal elites, also seduce souls with the victim-entitlement mentality end up being the only ones living in luxury as a result of seducing masses to put them in power with their lies.
All of which God allows, with limits (else the whole world would be worse than North Korea) in allowing man to have an alternative to choose btwn - light or darkness, ultimately sin or Him.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deuteronomy 30:19)
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:39)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; (Acts 3:19)
That was no doubt God’s perfect plan, but He also knew what would happen.
But “the plan” I meant here was what those who rebelled possibly had in mind — rid their world of its only “flaw” — God — if they could.
“The plan” I mean was what Satan and Adam and Eve possibly had in mind in rebelling against God.
I suggest you read your bible more.
The plan will go on. He hasn’t canned the idea nor will He.
Yes, true. But I wonder if Adam and Eve thought, if they became as gods, as Satan told them they would, then they’d have the power to get rid of God. Then they would rule. The story of human rebellion against God, including in the desire to get rid of Christ.
Did you properly understand the question? I wasn’t talking about God’s plan.
Whatever they thought, the reality is that eating the fruit obtained them and all of humanity a broken relationship with God. There certainly was no power in the knowledge of good and evil to become God.
Well yes true, but “the plan” here refers to what Satan might have had in mind, and Adam and Eve possibly had in heart, that if they became as gods, they would be equal in power to God, and so in their thinking, be able to expel Him from the Garden and rule it themselves. They didn’t like, perhaps, their subordinate position as His creatures.
Yes, and yet even today much of humanity will try to expel God.
There is only one definition for goodness, not alternate definitions. Socialists are classified under those “that call evil good and good evil”, as noted in Isaiah 5:20.
Yes, the liberals are following their master all right, that being the god of this world.
