Catholic Churches in California are receiving systematic "black paint" desecrations to defile statues of Christ our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Meanwhile churches on fire in France.
Dr. Taylor Marshall proposes the First 5 Saturday Devotion, the 3 stages of persecution, and how to respond.

The Left builds nothing. It can only destroy their betters.
It ust'a be, even evil men would say "the good book" to describe the Bible.
Then came the open door through the hippies of the sixties and progressivism just took off.
So here we are.

In a word, Democrats.
You can’t compare California to France. California is hellbent on becoming sodom and gomorrah while libtards lecture you about it.
Southern California Church Has Mural Vandalized With a Sledgehammer
And surveillance video captured the culprit in the act.
A community in Van Nuys, California, recently woke up to an act of vandalism. The face of the Virgin Mary had been smashed on a mural at St. Elisabeth Catholic Church. And surveillance video captured the culprit in the act.
Father Vito DiMarzio explains that he was heartbroken to watch the desecration of a sacred figure. “You feel bad; you have no words. In the Catholic faith, the Virgin Mary is special because she is the mother of Jesus, the mother of God.” He added, “I was shocked, and I went to mass, and I invited all the people to pray for the altar.”
Father DiMarzio says he reported the incident to the police and hopes justice will be served. He also hopes the culprit is caught but not punished, so they can get help. “I’m not angry. Since the beginning, we were praying for him that he will repent and realize that it is something very wrong. For sure, he needs some help, especially medical attention, I’m sure.”
In the meantime, the church is asking for donations to repair the damage and put plexiglass over the mural to protect it in the future.
Truly disturbed individuals.

“He also hopes the culprit is caught but not punished...”
^^^THAT^^^
THAT’S the problem: a mush-mouthed church that has ZERO CLUE as to the difference between punishment and consequences, and the redemptive purpose behind the consequences. You insulate people from consequences, you destroy the redemptive effect, and may as well truck them off to Hell right then and there.
Utter idiocy.
Da heck people think they call the place a “penitentiary” for, anyway?
And — HELLO!! — The Law of Sowing and Reaping?? Izzat a lost teaching, or what?
The proper perspective is, ya could have got killed for what ya did, but Mercy gave you — FREE, mind you — three hots and a cot in a cell, instead.
Vandalism on basilica grounds prompts sorrow, forgiveness for perpetrator
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (CNS) — Two days after the desecration of 16 statues on the grounds of the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Youngstown, parishioners who were gathered for Mass Feb. 28 expressed deep sorrow but also forgiveness for the perpetrator.
That day, Youngstown police had apprehended a suspect, Caleb Vancampen, 20, of East Palestine, Ohio, who reportedly confessed to the vandalism committed in the early morning hours of Feb. 26. Police said it helped that the suspect was caught on surveillance video.
Vancampen was arraigned for felonious vandalism March 1 in Youngstown Municipal Court. The vandalism garnered extension media coverage and elicited expressions of support and concern from community leaders.

Virgin Mary statue vandalized at Dickinson, Texas church

A priest in Texas is pointing out the increase in church vandalism in his state and the nation, after a statue of Mary was defaced at his church about a week ago.
Father Adman Purdy of Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Dickinson -a suburb between Houston and Galveston–told Fox 26 Houston about a troubling number of churches being vandalized.
Cases are being reported all over the nation, he said. Church property, including statues of the Virgin Mary and Jesus, are being defaced, and Fr. Purdy does not think these acts of vandalism are completely random.
“Even a couple days ago, in the state of Texas there were two Catholic churches where there was vandalism in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and there was also one in El Paso,” said Fr. Purdy. “The number on the year is already over 100 incidents of vandalism specifically toward Catholic churches.”
Other Tallahassee churches identified in this week’s red spray-paint vandalism
Local officials on Wednesday identified the other churches besides St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral that were vandalized this week in red spray-painted coded messages and threats.
All four are on Thomasville Road in northeast Tallahassee: The others are Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Freedom Church and Thomasville Road Baptist Church, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
St. Peter’s received thick, red spray-paint on its entrance door, sidewalk and pillars, said Marcus Kaiser, the dean of the cathedral.
The only legible messages were “angry was the wicked every day” and “blood on your hands.”
