Deception is repeated over & over again by Jesus as the big sign of the nearness of His Return.
With all of the hoopla surrounding the UFO sightings & Alien disclosure perhaps coming soon, I thought it was important to reiterate everything back to The Word of God and what His Word has to say on the subject.
Luke 21 & Matthew 24 are good chapters to reference for those points.

As Dr. Fermi lamented to several other big minds regarding the question of life from elsewhere, he stated “so, where are they?”.

I have discussed this with a pastor, who also happens to be a Phd astronomer/astro physicist. He said there is nothing in the Bible that speaks of life elsewhere, one way or the other. Were ET to land tomorrow, and make his(?) presence known, it would neither prove or disprove Earthly religions.
Then again, if ET were religious..............

C. S. Lewis wrote that there are only four possibilities if extra terrestrial life exist.
1. They are unfallen and more advanced than us. We have theology that explains this, we call these beings angels.
2 They are fallen and more advanced than us. We have theology that explains this. We call these beings demons.
3. They are fallen and about our level of advancement. In such a case we need to see how has God for their salvation, and how can we evangelize them?
4. They are unfallen and less advanced than us. In which case, they would probably perceive us as demons.
When I see posts like this I always think of my old FRiend Quix.
He had some very serious opinions about aliens and demons.

The question, based on Acts 10, is whether the extraterrestrials are edible?
Might be why it’s taking so long for Jesus to return - He has to go be Jesus on all the other inhabited planets as well as here.

I am not trying to be contrary, I do try to be a Berean as it were.
My personal theory is that there is no life on other planets in the galaxy...yet. After the last days when physical, unregenerated people are dwelling on the new earth, the saints, working with angels, will transform those distant planets to make them suitable as homes for the expanding population of humans from earth. At that time the vast distances between the stars will be meaningless and earth’s surplus of people can be transported effortlessly, worlds without end, amen!
This article does a good job of articulating what the bible says about the topic. That is it. Everything else is generally people trying to explain God and the heavenly hosts in a way to make them more like us. To rationalize it in a way that brings them down to us. To say “there are not angels.... they are just alien beings”.....and we might even make war against them....
Revelation.... People say all those stars and planets it is almost certain other “life” exists.... yet not one shred of proof.... just rationalizations
Idea #1.... all stars and planets were created explicitly for us on planet earth as referenced in the article. There is no life living on them.
Idea #2.... the God that spoke the entire universe into existence.... who created light by saying “let there be light”..... this same God became a man by being born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and let men here crucify him, raised from the dead, ascended to heaven..... all to provide righteousness to mankind he created.
Which is more difficult to believe?
