In case you’re wondering how some religions are coping with the outbreak of COVID-19, just look to the Jehovah’s Witnesses to see how absurd reactions can get.
In a recent video featuring Governing Body member Stephen Lett, he absolutely delights in the disease because he sees it as a signal that Armageddon is imminent.
So the events unfolding around us are making clear, [more] than ever, that we’re living in the final part of the Last Days. Undoubtedly, the final part of the final part of the Last Days, shortly before the last day of the Last Days.
What is a cult for $100 Cronus?
Does the Jehovah Witness Leader acknowledge that their past leaders have repeatedly failed to correctly predict the date of Christ’s return? 1914, 1925 and 1975 where just some of the dates where the predictions did not materialize.
Ummm... JWs don’t believe in a rapture.
Seeing that you don’t know the difference is telling.
I sure hope that true.
The Confusion of the Confusion.
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. - Mat 24:36”
One has to always be ready. Not even Jesus Christ himself knows the day or hour and certainly not Jehovah witnesses.
I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer
The future's uncertain and the end is always near
You forgot 1968...That was the END OF ALL THINGS. I gave up on the JW after that.
The poster of the thread has a hidden agenda. He is obsessed -and that is the correct word for the poster- obsessed to deny The Departure of the Body of Christ. His understanding of the particulars is so weak that he lacks any discernment so he seeks sneaky ways to open the topic. Just stick around, Cronos will get to his hidden agenda soon enough. The JWs are a smoke screen for manipulation purposes.
Don’t the JW’s claim to know the number of people who will be saved and that number is less than the total number of people who attend JW conventions every year.
Same crap was said in the 1980’s ewith the homosexual threatening the Los Angeles Basin Red Cross blood supply.
That’s possible, but I’d be surprised if they get 144,000 at their convention.
But the odds do get worse every year as the population increases.
>>> obsessed to deny The Departure of the Body of Christ.
LOL... they can’t even get past the identity of Christ.
That puts them in the same boat as Mormons and Muslims... among many others.
maybe you’re thinking of 1975?
... and folks that can read the Revelation for themselves see the 144,000 are identified as members of the twelve tribes of ISRAEL and JWs are not Jews.
Remember the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf?
The wolf eventually DID come...
