I once had a business colleague from NYC that was an Orthodox Jew. When I was in town on business we had a grand time together. We didn’t talk politics much, but be both knew each other to be conservatives. He would occasionally mention that there were many others just like him. He was sincerely interested in my culture - living in the wilds of central PA (fly over country). And I his. We had a lot in common actually, although things like hunting and shooting sports were completely foreign to him. He never said anything that would indicate those things should be restricted.
