Historic letter by leading Rabbonim in America in support of President Trump is released ahead of the elections.

The letter which includes the signatures of the Admorim of Pupa, Bobov, Munkach, Vizhnitz, Skver, Rachmistrivka, both Satmar Rebbes, the Dayan of the Crown Heights Bais Din as well as the Rosh Hayeshiva of Lakewood, Philadelphia, and South Fallsburg is an unprecedented joint letter of appreciation and blessing, spearheaded by Rabbi Moshe Margareten of the Tzedek Association.

The letter was first drafted in the summer and signatories were added until recently and signed by an unprecedented union of Rabbonim before being publicly released tonight. None of these Rabbonim have ever been involved in politics before.

Since most freepers are not orthodox Jews or familiar with orthodox Jews, this endorsement by many hassidic and yeshiva leaders is very significant.

Most of these rabbis' rarely get involved in politics in such a public forum, but here we have it.

Yes, most of you have the vision of the "Hollywood Jew" as representative of what Jews are and unfortunately there are still way too many Jews that are liberals first, second, third, and fourth and Jewish pulling up the rear.

The good news is that these types of Jews are disappearing very quickly (how many prominent Jews can you name that are under 50--and yes, Jared K is technically an orthodox Jew)

Orthodox Jews have large families and will no doubt be the American Jew of the future.

So the next time you see those Jews with the funny sidelocks and wearing the black fedora hats, be aware that there is about a 90% chance that they are staunch Republicans. think Rockland County, NY, Lakewood, NJ and Brooklyn!

Thanks. My Chabad friends in NY are all starting to see things in a different light since Kaiser Wilhelm DeBlazio decided that he didn’t like Jews anymore (only their money). There are still a few left their that remember the 1930’s, especially Krystallnacht...There were very long lines to vote last week, and most assume that they were voting Democrat, but they might be surprised...

Thank you for the post. It is truly stunning to me that any Jew would vote Democrat in this election.

I spent a part of my life in Skokie and became very close friends to this day with many Jews. Most are Conservative Jews but there were a few Reform Jews in our circle of friends. Reform Jews reminded me of Protestants (of which I am one) and many of the people who identified as Reform were actually Secularists. Nothing in their homes or affiliations would lead you to believe they were Jewish. They rarely observed the High Holy Days and routinely ate pork. I never asked but always noticed these were the Jews who routinely supported Democrats. They were like pocket book Catholics, they voted what was best for their pockets and not their faith. The Conservative Jews were far more pro-Israel and they varied in their support between Dems and the GOP. It was not that easy to get to know Hasidic Jews. One friend a very Conservative Jew, told me that what Secular and Reform Jews fail to understand is those who hate Jews, hate them as much if not more then they hate Conservative Jews and Hasidic Jews. Jews who vote Democrat ignore the anti-Semitic rhetoric and the anti-Israel rhetoric at their own peril.

Most on FR probably aren’t familiar with these names, but they are really at the very top of the religious Jewish world.

These guys are frequently referred to as ‘Maran’ (Master), ‘Sar’ (Prince), or ‘Gaon’ (Genius), etc.
