Thread Instructions and Guidelines:

I believe that God wants us to know how much He Loves us and desires to hear our personal prayers so in His Kindness and Mercy grants our humble requests, not always but often in the exact manner we expect and so I think it’s very important for the people that pray to learn of how their prayers are answered.

To post a prayer request on this thread simply click on the "Post Reply" button on this post and let everyone know who and what we are praying for. Those that check this thread regularly will see your post. If you PM me, I will ping my regular FR prayer warrior list (everyone that posts replies to this and previous threads) with a link to reply to your post number. There are now over 100 FReepers that will be notified. I will also ping everyone to any updates you provide. I will not ping any FReepers that have specifically requested to be excluded from prayer pings.

If your prayer request is of especially critical and urgent nature and there is still time for a miracle, Please create a separate post / thread *I can do this for you. Then I will ping my very low volume urgent ping list of over 1000 prayer warrior FReepers.

* If you need me to post a thread for you, just PM me with as many details as you can provide but especially the first name of the person we are going to be praying for. I believe that God plays a role in how we receive our first names and so it is a slightly more powerful way to pray however He knows who we are praying for anyway and it's not really necessary. Please try to make at least one post to the new thread so I can direct poster's replies directly to you. If you want to remain anonymous I will gladly honor your request.

Good morning. Long post warning:

First want to say thanks everyone for your prayers - I probably won’t respond to each of you individually but know that I so appreciate you all praying for my family.

Yesterday I took my dad for his scan and then some labwork. Bit of confusion - left here at 6 to get to lab at 7:30, there until 9:30. Left and got out of parking deck, back on interstate headed home, his phone rang and they wanted us back for lab work. Turned around, went back to UAB, parking deck, etc. Got blood work, got back on interstate, huge hour long traffic jam due to wreck. Also want him to come back day before surgery for covid test. Surgery next Thursday. Going to try and figure out a way that he doesn’t have to make a four hour trip (both ways) two days in a row. My dad lives about 35 minutes west of me.

Haven’t heard about my sis-in-law’s biopsy. Surgery for her maybe same week, don’t know yet.

Friend’s son is in surgery right now (thryroid cancer). Was going to take 2 1/2 hours, now up to 5 hours. Praying for him today. I will post afterwards with update, when I hear.

Just heard from my dear friend that her son T is out of the hospital and on his way home. I’ll post again once I hear how he is doing, if they got all the cancer, etc. Surgery was 6 hours long. I was praying sonsiderably yesterday and will continue for his recovery and good health. Thank you for doing this wonderful service.

Hello, I wanted to offer an update for my mother, Edith, who has head and neck cancer. She’s been on the prayer list since beginning of the year and I put in an occasional update for her. In August it was determined that immunotherapy was not working and Dr felt that hospice would be best for her. Radiation held the tumor in her face back for about 10 weeks and then it started to regrow. I’m remain here with her - she is still on her feet and puttering about the house.

Doctor didn’t say how long he thought she would last. The cancer is in her liver and bones and of course, the face. If *only* the tumor in her face would slow down so that it doesn’t make her utterly miserable, or start wrapping around her throat :( It did attack some of the facial nerves so half her face has dropped, but she can swallow and eat. Thank you for prayers for her.

My father passed away today in his sleep. He was sick for a while and for last few days he was doing not too well and he was slipping away so we were expecting he would pass away soon. But this night (we live in the Netherlands) he passed away in his sleep. He was my hero and always supported me so I will miss him a lot. But I have comfort that he is with my brother now who passed away 4 years ago.

UPDATE— Dear Freeper Family— how very much I appreciate all the prayers, words of encouragement and suggestions. I read all of them as I waited. My husband got out of surgery and it went well THANK GOD! His heart is strong...they did the triple bypass plus one branch of the other. The doctor said everything else was working well. Before he went into surgery I felt more peace than I had in the past several days and I know it was because of all the prayers holding me up so thank you! I wasn’t the disastrous mess I have been. He is now in ICU hopefully for only 24 hours then into the regular room and then starts the recovery. How very much I have appreciated you seeing me through a difficult time... if in the upcoming weeks Keith crosses your mind in the midst of the insanity going on in the world right now, please say a quick prayer for him. Would really appreciate it! Again thank you for being here for me during a difficult time!

My brother was admitted to the ICU at Jesse Brown in Chicago last night. He has been fighting a slow moving infection for a few months now and it has taken a turn for the worse and they had to put him on a vent. He is in stable condition but it will be a difficult recovery. Please pray for his rapid healing
