Oh, I am so sad to learn this - but rejoice that Ravi is with Jesus, his Lord and King!
Thank you for posting this article.
Ravi’s program - Let My People Think is one I wholly endorse and which will, I believe, continue even after his death.
His books are priceless treasures.
God be with Ravi’s loved ones at this time of grieving - but we know though they grieve, it is not as ones who have no hope. Ravi is safe in the arms of his beloved Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thanks for posting this. They could have left out the ‘controversies’ and instead mentioned all of the major world figures of other religions Ravi was able to meet and witness to.
To: SeekAndFind
I always liked Let My People Think.

And now, finally, his last work will be published - Jesus talks to Mohammed.
To: SeekAndFind
Imagine the enormous joy he must be in now!

I had the pleasure of seeing him in person in Atlanta several years ago.
I remember hearing him on the radio just shortly after I converted to Christianity back in 2004.
He always went into the toughest places (universities and colleges...even before world leaders) in order to engage the public for Jesus Christ.
Rest in peace, good servant.

I don’t like the term “apologist. I have nothing to apologize for.

RE: I dont like the term apologist. I have nothing to apologize for.
A lot of our English terms are derived from either Greek or Latin. The word -- Apologetics is one of them.
Etymology. The term apologetics derives from the Ancient Greek word apologia (ἀπολογία). In the Classical Greek legal system, the prosecution delivered the kategoria (κατηγορία), the accusation or charge, and the defendant replied with an apologia, the defense, using reason and evidence to convince others.

Not apologist. Apologetic.
Richard Nixon was an apologist. Saint Paul was an apologetic.

That was my question too; is a Theologian the same as an “Apologist”. I think you answered it.
It’s the old world way of saying this.

A true, true loss for Christians. He was a fantastic teacher of the Word. Scripture clearly says that in the Last Days there will be a loss of the Word. I think that comes with the loss our great teachers. Jack Van Impy (not sure how to spell it), and several other men named Jack have gone on to be with the LORD the past few years. We are losing them faster than we have good ones to replace them.

He was very influential in my return to Christianity after a very rebellious youth. A friend had recommended his book Can Man Live Without God and it started my journey back to faith. His ability to dissect arguments with wit, charm, and a wealth of knowledge is unsurpassed. He was an eloquent writer and speaker, but more importaintly a great Christian. Prayers for his family.
