Pastor Tony Evans is asking for all people of faith to pray for a supernatural intervention as his wife battles to defeat cancer despite chemotherapy no longer being an option.
The Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship senior pastor shared the update in a letter...
Evans wrote, "Lois spent all of last week in the hospital due to severe pain related to her biliary cancer. The doctors were able to manage the pain, and they released her from the hospital for home care."
Last week, Evans posted a video showing prayer warriors outside the family's home praying for 24 hours on rotation, believing for a miracle for Lois.
The minister declared he is clinging to the promises of God more than ever because medical remedies are no longer responding....

So I'm praying for Lois Evans, his one wife of many years—with whom he shares four children, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren—to be healed according to God's plan. Lois is active in ministry to pastors' wives, and two of their four grown children are also evangelists. Tony and Lois Evans are also both active in marriage ministry.
What an amazing couple and thanks for sharing. Never heard of Dr. Evans. My heart always aches for the ones who are faithful to the Lord and give so much to the ministry of the Lord but yet, suffer with pain, with cancer and pass away.
I have lost quite a few friends and family so devoted to the Lord to cancer- it just so hard to understand why.
Prayers for their family for a miraculous healing.

I have a son with brain cancer and a wife with cancer. In the last few years I have spent hundreds of days at hospitals and clinics. Cancer hits people of all ages, races, etc.
The most important thing I have seen for the patients is to have a very strong support system. The power of prayer and the power of positive thinking does amazing things.

The Lord is "keepin' it real" for Tony Evans. No amount of worldly recognition can guard against stuff happening, because this is a fallen world. It seems unjust; yet how can pastors minister to other hurting people if the Lord kept them shrink-wrapped? That said, I don't wish it on him, or her. They are the kind of role models our nation needs more of.

If you ever receive news that your prayers have been heard, please let us know. It’s always good to know that prayers are heard and answered. I gave up long ago.
