Pop singer Miley Cyrus recently slammed Christian conservatives for believing in "fairy tales" like the story of Noah's ark and argued that those who hold to a traditional definition of marriage should not be permitted to make laws within the United States. In a recent interview with Paper magazine, Cyrus, who appears nude within the publication, refers to herself as the "least judgemental person ever." However, the magazine notes that while she was raised in a Christian home and was baptized in a Southern Baptist church, the "Wrecking Ball" singer "maintains a particular contempt for fundamentalist lawmakers who rally against this sort of progressive, potentially life-saving changes [for the LGBT] community." "Those people [shouldn't] get to make our laws," Cyrus said of Christians who hold to a traditional view of marriage. - See more at: http://www.gospelherald.com/articles/55983/20150610/miley-cyrus-mocks-christians-who-believe-in-old-testament-fairy-tales-says-those-who-oppose-homosexuality-shouldnt-get-to-make-laws.htm#sthash.Rkum5Y2u.dpuf

Uh...
..thousands of stupid little 'reporters'?
Oh; so THIS is why I’m now living under the bridge!
Happily; there is!
I sure don't want to be like the older brother who whined...
"Where's MY fatted lamb?"
Luke 7:41-43
41 "A moneylender had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
42 "When they were unable to repay, he graciously forgave them both. So which of them will love him more?"
43 Simon answered and said, "I suppose the one whom he forgave more."
Thank you. A good thought.
10 nice sized ones for only $2.50 a bag.
Can you say AIRHEAD?
Miley Cyrus should not rate a column inch, let alone publish her satanic appearance. How much are her publicists paying "Gospel Herald" for this? She doesn't care what you say about her--just spell the name right--eh?
Yellow journalism.
Lady?
God does the judging, and she is already condemned.
God said 'way bck, "My spirit shall not always strive with man . . .."
"And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
It seems pretty clear that this accountable human's reasonings is continuously evil, and she is soaked in it.
Regarding her criticisms of the faithful, her end is probably going to be like this:
"Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought." (From Isa 41:11-12)
Regarding praying for those who offend beyond the point of no return:
"If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it."
I think I'll leave this one up to God.
I think we need to be reminded to pray for even the worst sinners. This is a requirement of the virtue of Hope, as well as a constant feature of Jesus’ precepts and example. He prayed for the guys who were pounding in the nails and murdering their Lord and God!
She’s definitely making an effort for the world to see.
That’s a very bad idea.
Yes, that’s a good one. And the Pharisee and the tax-gatherer.
Usually they’re $3.50!
Of course, considering that Jews have never really entered the fray on these issues, I suppose that assumption is understandable.
She must be Catholic.
>> Baptism does not save anyone. <<
I've met tons of protestants who announced they accepted Jesus on such-and-such date that they got baptized, and were instantly "saved" at that point onward. Then they ask everyone else if we've accepted Jesus and been baptized, so we will also be "saved" the instant we "accept Jesus". Take it up with them.
I agree that neither Catholic NOR Protestant baptisms will instantly "save" a person.
If protestants concede that point, one wonders why so many them vehemently protest infant baptism and insist a person must be able to "accept Jesus" during the baptism. Clearly it didn't work for Miley regardless of the fact she had been old enough to vocally "accept Jesus". Whether she had been baptized when she was 16 days old or 16 years old, the result was the same.
