>> Baptism does not save anyone. <<
I've met tons of protestants who announced they accepted Jesus on such-and-such date that they got baptized, and were instantly "saved" at that point onward. Then they ask everyone else if we've accepted Jesus and been baptized, so we will also be "saved" the instant we "accept Jesus". Take it up with them.
I agree that neither Catholic NOR Protestant baptisms will instantly "save" a person.
If protestants concede that point, one wonders why so many them vehemently protest infant baptism and insist a person must be able to "accept Jesus" during the baptism. Clearly it didn't work for Miley regardless of the fact she had been old enough to vocally "accept Jesus". Whether she had been baptized when she was 16 days old or 16 years old, the result was the same.
Baptism doesn't save; but sadly, neither does refusal to accept God's terms for it: repentance toward The God from Sin and sins, together with irreversible allegiance to the Savior Jesus Christ through His Blood, poured out to save the sinner.
