As proof of their bravery, rebels fighting against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad are suspected of sabotaging a batch of measles vaccinations, leading to the deaths of up to 50 young children. If true, it's a new low in an especially discouraging chapter of modern history.
LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Dozens of infants in the rebel-held cities of Jarjanaz and Sinjar in Idlib province fell ill and died after being given the drugs.
The causes of death has not yet been established. Officials reportedly suspect the vaccines may have been tampered with while left unguarded in a storage facility in Jarjanaz.
"There was shouting and screaming, it was hard for the parents," Dr. Abdulla Ajaj, a physician who helped administer the vaccine. The doctor added that the children all exhibited the same "severe allergic shock" to varying degrees.
"You get your child vaccinated and then you find your child dying, it's very hard," Ajaj said.
There weren't enough respirators in the clinic, making the situation even worse. Video footage uploaded to social media showed a medic examining a young girl who was squirming.
Another child, in an orange tee-shirt and blue pants, appeared lifeless as a medic administered CPR. The child's mouth pried open revealed a swollen, blue-tinged tongue.
Physicians for Human Rights, a New York-based group that works in rebel-held areas of northwest Syria, sent an internal e-mail saying that up to 50 children may have died from the vaccine.
The vaccinations are part of a large-scale campaign to stop the spread of measles, mumps, rubella and polio in rebel-held areas of northern Syria.

“Suspected of” is not the same as “We’re sure they did.” There are other possible causes of vaccines’ being contaminated or suffering spoilage.
Sounds like something the US CDC makes up. To kill infants no one has to sabotage vaccines, all they have to do is administer them to enough kids and the vaccines will kill, maim, and cause autism, etc.
Geesh, and these cretins in DC want to arm and train this scum in Saudiland. What could go wrong?

The rebels first tried to pin the blame on Assad; I’m not sure that this is any more legitimate. More likely it was caused by illiterate stone age savages who couldn’t read the labels.
