If he’d preached “Adam and Steve” would he have been off the hook?

“A British magistrate has issued an extraordinary summons to the worldwide leader of the Mormon church alleging that its teachings about mankind amount to fraud.”
I think creationists are living in their own la-la land, but this is pure lunacy and tyranny. It is like the Scopes Monkey Trial, but only this time the other side is creating a circus.

“it lists seven teachings of the church, including that Native Americans are descended from a family of ancient Israelites as possible evidence of fraud.”
Well ...... it is patently false and absurd.

As much as I have a definite disagreement with Mormons, this is truly terrifying. Britain is a FASCIST country.

This sounds too much like the sort of thing that first drove the Pilgrims to leave in the first place, and then the Founders to write the Constitution the way they did.

The Cult of Mormonism is a huge fraud.

Very interesting. If a religious body can’t prove, to the satisfaction of a court, that its teachings are factually true, then what? Does the church have to pay restitution to everyone who disagrees with what it teaches?
And what about Islam? (Always the killer question, so to speak.)

I disagree with the mormons on this but the British jurist is definitely a homosexual nazi.

If they were teaching about “toys” from the Adam and Eve catalog there would be no problem.

The perilous trail of legalism versus religion leaves me to voice that famous warning mantra; "First they came for the Mormons ..."
Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) German Protestant Pastor & Theologian;
"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist."

First the UN demands the Catholic Church change its doctrines, and now the UK wants to arrest the head mormon for teaching about Adam and Eve (though from what I understand the mormon church doesn't teach
creatio ex nihilo).
Add to this all the laws and movements against circumcision and kosher slaughter and we're all headed somewhere very nasty, and very dangerous.
