I do not find Mormon teachings credible and I don't think they bear much critical scrutiny. Having said that, the intrusion of a UK court into the religious creeds of an American citizen is jaw-dropping tyranny.

Anybody know what Thomas Monson's options are? Can he just ignore it? Is the U.S. going to be party to the extradition of a U.S. citizen to answer to a U.K. judge about questions arising from religious texts?

So you are advocating leaving it up to governments, to decide which religious denominations and creeds have merit?

Some might argue the cults of Benny Hinn, or TBN, or anyone of a string of televangelists ripping of the elderly, the ignorant, the infirm, the vulnerable are huge frauds as well.
