Televangelist Joel Osteen says homosexuality is a sin but he doesn't "preach" about it and isn't against "anybody" who is gay.
"I believe that scripture says that it's a sin but I always follow up by saying you know what, we're not against anybody," he added.
"There's a lot of things, Larry, and I don't understand so I just don't want to preach on it, preach about it," Osteen replied.

Amen to that. The problem with Feel Good religion is that when everyone feels good and doesn’t have their feelings hurt, they aren’t being taught that there is a wrong and a right.

[Larry King] asked how homosexuality can be called a sin, "if we don't know what causes it. You don't know why you're a heterosexual," he added. "There's a lot of things, Larry, and I don't understand so I just don't want to preach on it, preach about it," Osteen replied. What the what?

Can anyone imagine Jesus’ disciples refusing to preach about sin?

2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching....Unless you are Joel Osteen, then you can do what you want.

My nephew has a fast growing church (Bible believing Spirt filled), about three miles from JO ‘church’.
He told me about half their growth are families leaving that church looking for Biblical teaching.

Looks like Joel has decided which pages he will believe and which he doesn’t.

There’s no sense in making people feel bad about themselves. Sure it’s wrong but just remember God loves us just the way we are. That’s why we are going through that BIG WIDE gate instead of that narrow winding one that is more difficult.

Isn’t this the same guy who said he wasn’t sure if Jesus was the one and only way to Heaven?
Why do people listen to him?

“Osteen was then asked if gay marriage annoys him.”
“It doesn’t annoy me,”
How in this world can a person who is a Christian say that Gay Marriage does Not annoy him?
That is just so unbelievable.

So he is admitting he only preaches part of the truth, not all of it. Shame on him. Shame. Shame.
