ROMEExecutives from CBS confirmed Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer of The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Pope Francis would be appearing in this seasons finale of the hit television show Undercover Boss. The finale, slated to appear in late May, will feature the Pontiff taking on an alias and fictional backstory as he navigates his way through different parts of the Vatican in an attempt to investigate the inner workings of the Curia.
Series Creator and Producer Stephen Lambert told Eye of the Tiber that it was one of the most difficult episodes hes ever worked on. Usually its the CEO of 1-800-FLOWERS or something, so its typically a lot easier to hide their identity but when its the Bishop of Rome, thats when it gets a bit tricky. Lambert went on to say that the episode had some hallmark moments, especially the moment his true identity is revealed.
Everyone is shocked, as expected. But what really shocked us most was how many people said, Oh, crap, after the revelation.
If only!
This pope is “ most cool” and may well bring me back to my church.
ROTFL!
Doin it again eh ?
If you cared to pay attention, you’d know he’s going through the front door to clean up the Curia.
He wasn’t too thrilled to find that they ignored Benedict’s orders to clean house.
Now, if you’re expecting the resulting dirt to end up on the front page of the NYT, you may be disappointed.
If you cared to pay attention, you would notice this article is SATIRE.
Can Catholics riot now just like the Muslims do?
Why do you conclude I didn’t get that?
My impression of your response was that you were wishing the Pope really would tackle the problems in the Curia.
My point was that he is.
Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought the picture of the pope with glasses and a beard were funny. It’s too late at night I guess.
Must see TV!
