Prayerathon to aid my sister, Libby, aka Double Umbrella in her glorious leap into our Lord and Savior's arms.
Libby was a long time, passionate lurker on Free Republic. She read every political thread from beginning to end.She knew many of you in depth even though you didn't know she was there.
You gave her great delight, intellectual stimulation and hope for the future. That such fine people had a gathering place was a delight to her.
She was an avid Tea Partier and participated in person locally through the whole health care debacle.
She was a Renaissance woman, artist, pianist, nurse. She read voraciously, especially things political.
She joined under the name of Double Umbrella but her posting history is limited to just 1 post. Glioblastoma took her language skills. She always understood but the ability to speak coherently was taken from her.
She has fought the good fight, she stayed active through therapy going to church and bible studies until a stroke took her right side and locked her in.
Her earthly race is run, she is still minimally responsive but her ability to swallow is gone. She still opens her eyes with a kiss to the brow or cheek but she mostly peacefully sleeps.
Please participate in praying her across to eternity and into the loving arms of Jesus.

Ah, Taz, my screen is blurring up...it’s a bittersweet feeling to know that Libby has reached the end of life on Earth and is nearing the beginning of life in our Lord’s arms. I pray for her peaceful and joyous journey. And for peace for you and your family as she goes.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH!
Heavenly Lord, Please Hold Tasmanianreds Sister Libby Double Umbrella - And Family In The Shelter Of Your Healing Wings! _________________________________________________________________
The Twenty-Third Psalm Mahalia Jackson (Click)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 23 -KJV

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Then Almitra spoke, saying, "We would ask now of Death."
And he said:
You would know the secret of death.
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life?
The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light.
If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life.
For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.
In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.
Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour.
Is the shepherd not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king?
Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling?
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
Khalil Gibran

As I understand these things, at a ripe old 73, I believe her Savior will send an angel escort to carry her across the Great Divide. And I also believe that many of her friends and loved ones have been notified of her soon arrival and will be waiting to meet her and welcome her into the realms of bliss.
If you haven’t already, please read “HEAVEN IS FOR REAL” and “MY JOURNEY TO HEAVEN.” They’ll bless you tremendously!
