On Jan. 7, exactly two weeks before we are to simultaneously celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and inaugurate Barack Obama to his second term as President of the United States, sinister advertisements went up in dozens of subway stations around New York City, making evident that despite the undoubted strides our nation has made toward achieving justice and equality, bigotry and fear-mongering remain alive and well in America.
The American Freedom Defense Initiative, headed by Pamela Geller, an inflammatory demagogue with a long history of anti-Muslim incitement, purchased space in 39 stations for ads with an image of the burning World Trade Center and a quote attributed to the Quran saying, "Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers." The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which administers New York's transit system, said the ads will run for a month.
This new ad campaign is Round Two of Geller's pernicious campaign to whip up hatred of American Muslims by placing ads in transit systems around the nation. Last September, Geller's group paid for ads in subway stations and on buses in New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Chicago and Denver, which read: "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad." Those ads not only falsely conflated belief in Islam with enmity to Israel, but also implied that adherents of Islam are savages.
The Quranic verse (3:151) which Geller cites in her new ad campaign refers to a moment in early Muslim history in which a large army of idol worshippers from Mecca stood poised to invade Medina in an attempt to wipe out a small community of Muslims living under the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad...

The problem is the Jews aren't killing us Infidels, but the Muslims are. - Tom
With the ever increasing reports of Mohammedans worldwide, as they are the minority in other countries, berating those countries for not moving towards Sharia Law, and with the facts that those Mohammedans living in America have ever been SILENT in denouncing the 9/11 attacks, carried out by Saudi national Mohammedans, which killed friends of mine in the commodity business, I vocally, and in writing, support that great American, Pamela Geller, in exposing the lie that is Mohammedanism.
Good grief, don’t they know that Martin Luther King was a Christian?
Thanks for posting that. I am sick of the fawning over King.
I figured Beck would be doing backflips over his hero today.
The same “American” muzzies that were ululating in celebration when the towers came down?
I remember King’s speeches. I liked the ‘MountainTop’ speech the best.
However, every time, just after King left someplace, the riots started. He wasn’t there. He was the warm up act.
But the scenario repeated. He and his leaders knew the scenario repeated. There is a spot I know of that is still empty and not rebuilt from the riots way back then.
Someone used to post on here about the open sex, drugs, communist rabble that were part of those who descended on the places where King was/had left.
I remember it well because I lived through it.

The Quranic verse (3:151)...The writer conflates jihad with Islam -- IOW, a straw man argument, which is the sure sign of a liar, until one realizes that it's merely his admission that Jihad and Islam are indistinguishable from each other. Geller's earlier ad wasn't making that claim. 3:151 is in fact used by jihadists and those who whip up their desire to commit jihadist atrocities.
“King was both a Christian and a Republican”
Sorry, but King was not a Republican.
Got proof?
Most blacks were Republican back then because the Democrats were the party of the KKK, Bull Conner, ad nauseam.
I'd say that is a complement since they are far worse than savages...
yes he was
