The State-Sponsored Fairy Tale
Set Our Children Free ^ | 10/11/12 | Tony Caruso

Posted on 10/11/2012 12:48:23 PM PDT by Guido2012

Evolution is the proverbial big lie. It is told over and over again by government bureaucrats, teachers, scientists, university professors, news anchors, and others who should know better. It remains unchallenged in the public arena because no dissent is permitted to this state religion. Like most government lies, particularly those it tells school children in order to perpetuate Marxism into the next generation, the theory of evolution enjoys near-sacred politically correct status. It is not to be questioned. Those who do so will be scorned by the establishment as uneducated zealots, marginalized as pariahs in the world of political discourse, and relegated to the trash heap of those who tell fairy tales. So why not tell our own fairy tale …

“But Daddy, I don’t want to go to bed yet.”

“Yes, sweetie, but it’s bedtime, and if you go to bed now, I’ll tell you a fairy tale....

Calvin's DAD! I loved his explanation as to why the world before 1940 was all black and white.

"The theory of evolution does not try to explain the origin of life."

which is a major hole in the theory. Along with the magic mutations.

Apparently Daddy has never heard of a coronal mass ejection or a supernova. All stars are still turning into heavier stuff, that’s what makes them shine.

Yeah but the heavier stuff is already there, air does not turn into dirt but there may be dirt in the air.

We can argue about how it happened, but it was a well organized plan, not an accident.

They have so many problems with their godless fairy tales. But in academia your future and reputation depend on going along with the lastest evolutionary drivel!

You got that right, science is one thing evolution is not science, it is just basing one theory on another theory that could easily have a wrong date, as with the age of a rock.

And while they are not all wrong they are assuming that they know much more than they do.

The people who invented the airplane had to prove their theory and the proof is in the air, the evolutionists nor the man made global warming nuts has proven nothing.

The nuts that are running the world believe in law and order as long as it is their law and their orders, but they believe that the world that they are ruling was made in a ramshackle fashion with out any law nor order, how bright these people are.

Only turning into helium, nothing else.

Incorrect.

Fred Hoyle in 1946 first described the mechanism for formation of elements up to iron in stellar cores. Even heavier elements are formed during supernovae.

Stellar Nucleosynthesis

This is all very well-established nuclear physics. Our own Sun doesn't produce anything other than helium right now, but when you consider how small it is in comparison to some other types of stars, that's hardly a relevant point.

I just struggles through 2 1000 page volumnes that are updates to Henry Morris’Genesis Flood. Yes, we catastrophic Biblical young earth people have perplexing items to explain, but the Evolutionist-uniformitarian crowd has many, many times the anomalies to explain. ie nonconformities in strata, suddenness of death in flood waters of large numbers of creatures, the burn rate of the sun, The migration of the moon’s orbit, vertical sedimentation that supposedly took millions of years, etc, etc. I choose to believe the Word of God, the Bible, that has been an accurate explanation for human life and destiny.

The theory of evolution does not try to explain the origin of life.

Darwin's book is titled "The Origin of Species."

Adding to that, Darwin wrapped his book up with the words...

"There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved."

Suggested reading ... a modern update to the fourteen chapters in Darwin's "Origin." The modern book's title is "Darwin's Ghost" by Steve Jones.

Iron internal to stars, yes. But fusion, even in supernovas.

You are correct. I should have specified that thermal fusion will get you only as far as iron. Fusion does occur in a supernova, but the driver for the fusion is different.

So iron has been discovered on Betelgeuse and other Supernova? I must have missed that news bulletin. Or maybe it’s just theory. The bottom line is that evolution is a fraud and a lie. Fred Hoyle himself admitted that life could not have possibly begun by chance, and therefore he admitted that there was a god. And he was an athiest when he finally saw the light.

Me too, especially considering the things that has come to pass that was predicted over 2500 years ago, the return of the nation of Israel. and like you mentioned, the flood.

Even if evolution is a fraud and a lie, you’re not going to help your case by denying well-known and thoroughly-understood mechanisms of stellar fusion.

I’m not denying anything that is real, provable, observable science, and that means following the scientific method and being peer reviewed. Do some research on the difficulty of forming carbon, which is essential to all life, from helium. Just that probability alone should discourage anyone from thinking it happened here, let alone the impossible odds of life forming from those carbon compounds and evolving. That’s the point.

The Triple-Alpha Process

"Ordinarily, the probability of the triple alpha process would be extremely small. However, the beryllium-8 ground state has almost exactly the energy of two alpha particles. In the second step, 8Be + 4He has almost exactly the energy of an excited state of 12C. These resonances greatly increase the probability that an incoming alpha particle will combine with beryllium-8 to form carbon."

I enjoyed Henry Morris’ book the Genesis Flood too except at times so very detailed as to make one re-read sections multiple times and still unsure of the jist of it. Still a good read though.

Dr. Walt Brown PhD was inspired later in life by this book, although prior in his background he worked in the evolutionary science field and became disgusted with how much outright deceit and fraud his colleagues were willing to embrace. He has a very distinguished and colorful background but if you enjoyed The Genesis Flood then you’ll probably find Walt’s book truly inspirational. It’s free to read online but even the hardback 8th edition was only $30.

Center for Scientific Creation - In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood
http://www.creationscience.com/onlinebook/IntheBeginningTOC.html

I feel it is the best overall science text, mostly in laymans terms but highly researched, footnoted, and cross-referenced to allow more in depth study on every scientific aspect. Numerous pictures, tables, and diagrams as well. A definite must-read for anyone who cares to exmine the creation side of this debate.
