ah... so is the earth to be purified of the system through fire? kind of makes sense. Growing up in the farm we would clear brush and other things, pile them up and burn them. This cleaned up the soil sterilizing it for new plants.
I’ve thought about that one. Mars look like an ancient earth-like planet.
Whatever and however, one thing is for sure: It will be awesome!

The reference made in Genesis about the condition of the earth at creation is the same reference made in Revelations.
The face of the earth will wiped clean, and re-created.
And there won't be any curly,screwy light bulbs either!

If you read further in Rev you can see that God destroys this earth with fire and everything is burned off the planet and a new earth is created from a dead old earth.
For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire..... Deut. 4:24; Deut. 9:3; and Hebrews 12:29...
Paul says at the last trump, there are 7 trumps, all flesh will be changed... and this age that is now ends at the return of Christ.
And this flesh age has produced plenty of trash/garbage that need be cleansed ... law and order will be restored, of course according to God's law and order.
In Ezekiel 16 whole chapter, Jerusalem is described as the Heavenly Father's most favorite place, and He intends to reclaim her and clean her up once again.
That implies laws will be eventually broken...AGAIN.

Heaven will come to Earth and the New Jerusalem will be our home (for some of us).
Well the 'BOOK' gives no hint to expect a fourth heaven/earth age. Note IIPeter 3 whole chapter, Peter says there are three different heaven and earth ages, we are now in the age that is now (2nd, or flesh age, John 3 where every soul is given opportunity to pass through this age.) and nearing the beginning of the third heaven/earth age.
I can 'see' similarity... but, not even rocket/missiles can destroy the 'soul/spirit'.... that place has not yet been created.
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear HIM Which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. ----Hell is not created until judgment day wherein each and every soul will have their own personal face to face and has the 'choice' of whether or not they can keep the first commandment.
What did Jesus mean when He said that His Father has many mansions and that He would have one prepared for His people?
