Stop adding keywords to articles to slam others, e.g. catholicbashing, agendadrivenfreepers, moapc, catholicwhiners.
BTW, I think the keywords are only “anonymous” to those of us reading them. I believe the moderators can determine who posted which keyword, if it becomes an issue.
So a word to the wise — if you think it’s wrong, don’t post it as a keyword.
Real heavy irony. ;-)
I laughed out loud.
Vision posting meaningless platitudes from uberfraud Joel Osteen, complete with the admonition that nobody better comment negatively or he/she will tattle, just seems out of place here. Let FR be FR!
But of course, you'd have to search the blog, chat, etc. forums separately.
I think that we all should see who the author of each keyword is, that would cut out most of the crap IMO.
unfortunately, some people use certain keywords to keep people OFF of threads that have NOT turned toxic.
Thank you. I know people were adding keywords to threads I posted.
**ut if a thread is posted that is clearly meant to cast aspersions on a religion (like a thread that says someone quit the Catholic church, and lists the reasons the Catholic church is wrong), isnt the keyword catholicbashing an appropriate tag indicating the purpose of the post?**
I agree. There have been a number of catholic bashing threads lately.
Should it be a thing that we ask the Religion Moderator to add?
If a thread is a Catholic Bashing thread — perhaps all the Catholics need to PRAY for the poster rather than add keywords.
I’m serious!
I have no idea of what a key word is nor how it is used.....post a harmless one so I know what they are talking about please
Just under the end of the article:
TOPICS: General Discusssion; Humor; Click to Add Topic
KEYWORDS: adminlectureseries; agendadrivenmod; aids; areyouloggedon; ashalert; badkitty; beeber; cheese; chemtrails; doasyourtold; doomed; fightthepower; freespeechnot; hugh; islamsucks; justsaynobadkeyword; keyword; kitty; lol; madelinemurrayohare; modbashing; modwhiners; moose; moosebitsister; nannystate; rmforpres; rmrules; series; shamelessvanity; sigh; stuned; thailand; zot; Click to Add Keyword
Which has nothing to do with using keywords as slams.
But we don’t have to read them.
I pass over anything from Osteen.
Keywords can be used to search for articles. They’re a search feature.
For example, when you click on the search feature and want to find threads on Tozer, type Tozer in the box, pick the category of keyword, and it will give you a list of all the threads that have the keyword Tozer entered.
Same for prayer requests. Many times people will put in the term *prayerrequest* as a keyword, so that those who wish to pray for something, can find all the threads that are about prayer requests.
Keyword spamming is when people put in keywords not relevant for actually finding a thread, but for the purpose of making anonymous digs at others.
I once saw Ringo Starr at a bus stop in Gillette, Wyoming.
Please remind me what a zot is,since I was called one a while back.
