Please be in prayer for our sister in Christ, Betty Brooks. Betty went in to a small hospital in Ms. yesterday for a fairly routine procedure on her heart, done through the veins under her armpit.. Things did not go as planned and it turned into open heart surgery. Long story short, she is on a heart pump machine and they cannot get her stable for transport to a another hospital that has the equipment that she needs. Only an intervention from the Lord is going to help at this point. Betty is a Bible believing Christian. Her and her husband are the hosts of our Thursday night Bible study in their home, and are truly God loving, wonderful people.

Truly, Betty is in the presence of her precious Jesus, rejoicing even as her loved ones mourn their loss of her physical presence. May the comfort of the Holy Spirit surround her beloved husband and church family, for parting brings anguished sorrow, but Praise His Holy Name, joyous reunion awaits.
Amen to all the written petitions.
Father, we ask that You would fill this void that Betty leaves in her dear husband’s life and heart with more of You. Turn this darkness to an opportunity for him to learn more of Your goodness, comfort and grace. Fill the time with service to You and send laborers to bring help and encouragement to each family member as they have need.
Send Your Word, Sir, to bring healing to their souls and let not a root of bitterness have any place in their lives. You are good—all the time.

Fervent prayers for Betty’s husband in the sudden loss of his beloved wife, and for all her family and friends who knew Betty and loved her.
Again, I say thank you to all, for all the prayers for my 2 friends. I am amazed at the response that continues to come in. I am hugging all my FReeper friends as I try to type through the tears. Thank you, thank you.

Please Dear Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to her husband and reassure him that you are there with him always and that they will be reunited.
