Apparently there have been some 'Snake-Oil' salespersons selling Jesus as a cure-all.
For instance I am acquainted with two individuals who profess to be Christians. One is a confessed thief and the other a habitual liar (people pleaser). These two expect God to 'fix' them. So if God chose to take on that responsibility then the next morning the thief wakes and reaches up to scratch his nose only to discover his hands are missing and the liar is unable to speak as his tongue is missing.
I don't know anything but I'm pretty sure we're still responsible for our choices and life is a series of choices. We are responsible for our daily renewal.
This has to be one of the most confused postings that I have ever read. Sir, you need to state your premises clearly, in order that the reader has some idea what point you are attempting to make. We cannot read your mind.
One is zotted when there they are no longer among us. You can tell by clicking on their screen name. Last I checked it has not been zottified.
I think the Great Zot done hit about number 22 or so.
parsy, who did a double take when he saw the title
All are good questions... but then again who cares? The important thing is to join the party and have some fun at the Zottee’s expense! :)
Oh,I thought zotting occurred when the kitty came out. My bad.
parsy, who was wrong.
You asked the question on your profile page.
I will tell that Jesus is your only hope of being the best you can be. The problem is you are obviously rejecting because you have something within that blocks Jesus Christ (God) out of your life.
You should try to ask God to forgive you and remove it from your heart and take its place.
Then see what happens.
It will only happen if you truly repent within at the most personal level.
God will judge you by your heart and by your heart only.
Thats all I got. You will be banned soon.

Dang, got mad and missed them!
There, let's just hold right there, zotbait777.
You nailed it.
You know, I always wanted to sign up on FR as Paul Begala or James Carville, and post a ranting thread on April Fools day. I wonder how long it would last?
parsy, who has been thinking about this for years, even before they had zots
The
ZOT....AGAIN!
[40] Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him. [41] Then a man named Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house [42] because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.
As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. [43] And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. [44] She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.
[45] “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.
When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.”
[46] But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”
[47] Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. [48] Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”
So you know some politicians. Hillary and Bill respectively? Give us a clue. You've just described half of the people in DC. Well, more than half.
God does fix people and yes you are responsible for your actions.
God usually prefers less draconian measure than lopping off someone’s hands during the night or a lifetime of lockjaw. But God can definitely chastise when necessary.
God’s preferred mode of operation is to change the heart not the hands or the tongue.
God has taken murderers, adulterers, fornicators, thieves, harlots, and others and turned them into biblical heroes of faith.
Sometimes change can come quickly, but most times, it takes years of preparation for the fruit of the Spirit to manifest and someone to begin to resemble Christ in their actions. Man is so depraved, that he often doesn’t recognize his own depravity.
Mature Christians often find God showing them areas in their lives and attitudes that have been problems for years. God talks about babes in Christ needing milk instead of meat, referring to the levels of doctrine. Many Christians become choked with the cares of living this life that they don’t grow and don’t produce fruit.
God talks about some Christians who have their works destroyed, but they are still saved, “though as a man running from a house on fire”.
Many people think that if they are “better than average”, say a little closer to Mother Teresa than Adolf Hitler, they will be ok. That’s not true. The problem is that God is Holy. He knows no sin. In scripture He says to us “Be Holy for I am Holy.” and “Be perfect for I am perfect”. You can’t stand before a perfect Holy God with even one sin in your life and expect to live.
Worse, once you’ve sinned, there’s usually not anything you can do to correct it. There is no good you can do, to balance out the sin. Because if you knew it was good, then it is only what you should have done anyway.
Fortunately, God stepped in and offered us a pardon, by paying the penalty for sin for us. That’s why Jesus hung on the cross. That pardon is not forced on you, and if you don’t take advantage of it, then you will be judged based on your actions. And since God has already said there is no one righteous, you will go down in flames. Rejecting the pardon is not recommended.
Christians have had their past, present and future sins forgiven. But that doesn’t mean they don’t struggle against their old nature and continue to sin. But if they have really accepted Jesus, then sin should cause them turmoil. It can make them miserable until they deal with it.
And God doesn’t always bail us out when we sin. Sometimes sin has it’s own reward. Thieving and lying can come back to bite you. And God might punish them directly. But for their sakes, I hope he turns their heart before needing to do that.
And for your sake, I hope you give God a chance to work in your life.
Well, the one good thing in that cryptic post was
likening habitual liars to “people pleasers”.
That’s actually a good way to explain them psychologically.
Praise the Lord! FINALLY the Mods busted your incoherent, rambling a**!
You can talk ragtime just so many times before the Viking kitties get you.
And thanks so much for the equally indecipherable FReepmail. Not!
I know you don't need it it but, you got it anyway.
ZOT ON THIS BOY!
I’ll pray for you.
