Becoming a successful man in America today, as always, includes giving due consideration to your fathers admonitions and wisdom.
For the most part, your father is wiser than you areand he always will be. Wisdom comes chiefly through getting older. Since your father will always be older than you, he will always be wiser. Men should also read the words and deeds of great men of the pastespecially fathers. One such example is that great Virginian, Robert E. Lee.

I bet Lee is doing cartwheels in his grave......
Robert E. Lee -- "How can I draw my sword on Virginia, my native state?"
VA gubenor Tim Kaine -- "I'm here to tell you folks, Old Virginny is dead."

Oh, I reckon we’re all on the same page about General Lee. That is, us Americans are anyway.

I’m from Colorado, which makes me a Yankee, and I admire General Lee.
I’m just wondering how, in the photo, he is standing upon the lunar surface.

Most of us Yankees (even the idiotic ones) have great respect for Gen. Lee.
But Yanks and Rebs certainly disagree on many other issues regarding the war.
