Is Sarah Palin, the ardently pro-life Governor of Alaska, set to become the Republican Vice Presidential nominee?
This would present an opportunity for all those wanna be history makers to vote for something historic without handing the reigns to Barack Stalin Obama.
Palin is enormously popular in her home state and among conservatives of all stripes. She has only been governor for two years but that is more qualification than the dog catcher from Illinois has.
Is this potential veep pick a game changer? We shall see.
Stay tuned!
CMR wrote a story on the recent birth of Palin's fifth child called "Alaska Governor (And Possible Veep) Punished by Baby."
Update: From NRO "They say it's confirmed by high campaign officials"
Update Update Update: Laura Ingraham is reporting that the choice is Palin. CNBC is reporting the same. Stay on it!
Update Update: According to The Corner, Pat Buchanan on MSNBC just said "She Just Is Not Ready to Be Commander-in-Chief." That will surely be the MSM talking point on her...if it's her.
Also, I'm surfing all the news channels and they're all talking about this. Palin, Romney, Lieberman? McCain has done one thing very well. He's taken Barack Obama off the news the night after the biggest speech of his life. The men and women running McCain's camp seem to know what they're doing...unless the pick a pro-choice Veep and then I'll say they're as dumb as chickens.
Update: ABC is now reporting that Palin is still in Alaska. Who knows?
Enjoy!
Mcain can have some fun now, he can say that the dims, “the party of change” floated “some old white guy” as their VP.
Palin has been confirmed.
Well.. John McCain may end up being a whole lot smarter then I was willing to give him credit for.
Governor Palin becomes the first person of the 4 people to be in the 2008 Presidential election that has any executive experience. History has shown that in GENERAL Americans prefer Governors or some other type of Executive personage over Legislators for Presidential picks. That should apply for Vice Presidential also.
So the Dems run a ticket with no practical experience what so ever at the top and add on a backstop for the “apprentice seat”
The Repubs run an experienced politician (no executive experience) but place someone with a little executive experience in the “apprentice seat”.
Based on that information alone. leaving out personality, race, sex, poicy positions etc. the Repubs did a much better job.
The battle of wikipedia has already begun...

And the Left is using this for their (dis)information talking points.
Like all Stalinist tactics, what you read on the page today may be different than the bio described tonight. Revisionist history at its finest.
“Update Update: According to The Corner, Pat Buchanan on MSNBC just said “She Just Is Not Ready to Be Commander-in-Chief.” That will surely be the MSM talking point on her...if it’s her.”
Pat Buchanan is an erudite idiot.
Is "erudite" a new synonym for "f---ing"? The fact that PMSNBC looks to him for their "right-wing" commentator says a lot about his veracity.
I hope Palin is prepared to be viciously demonized by the Democrats and the MSM for the next 4 to 8 years.
If McCain is elected, Palin will be the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in either 2008 or 2012 (depending on whether or not McCain decides to run again after one term). The Democrats cannot allow a Republican to be the first woman President. They simply cannot allow it. The feminazis will be the most vicious of all.
Picture what the Democrats and MSM did to Quayle (painting him as an idiot) and Cheney (painting him as an evil fascist) and multiply it times a factor of 100.
Expect the Democrat controlled Congress to launch investigations of her every other week with repeated demands that the Justice Department appoint an independent prosecutor to prosecute her for whatever imagined crimes that they can come up with.
We all knew this would be a historic election, even more so now.
But I must protest this statement from the article as way over the top:
She has only been governor for two years but that is more qualification than the dog catcher from Illinois has.
This statement is a grave insult. An insult to dog cathchers. Dog catchers do not have to disqualify their opponents from the ballot in order to win their first election.
For sure. The libs are already trying to make hay with her brother-in-law issue and make it into a ruinous scandal.
But through the prayers of the faithful she will come through just fine.
I have to agree. NOW will once again show it is not a women's organization, but a liberal women's organization. It will be a free for all on Palin. Of course the pro-Hillary faction will be in a quandry as they want McCain to win so that Hillary can run again in 2012.
LOL! The Rats will never make that argument. She has more experience than BO.
Liberals are already comparing her to Anna Nicole Smith and her millionaire “husband”.
So Obamarama has “gracitas”??? How about Joe Biden?
HE has “gravitas”?
Maybe they should attack her on her age - wait a minute - Hussein is only 2 years older than her.
The Rats are going to get torpedoed in November. McCain is one smart, tough, lucky guy. And I seriously underestimated hi. The NICE thing is the Rats did too!!!!
Whooping, hollering, crashing pans, and a pile-on of little boys (why do they smell so funny? They had baths yesterday ...) at Tax-chick’s House of Herpets. Anoreth is so excited that I’m not sure she can drive safely. Yee-haw!
When I vote in November, it won’t be for John McCain. I will vote for Governor Sarah Palin for Vice-President! I think she will energize not only the conservative base McCain has too long spat upon, but she will energize many women voters that Snobama-messiah and the DNC machine trampled on.
